We have a mini schnauzer named Charlie who loves to hang out under the desk or table when I'm studying at home.

:-) My dog, a miniature poodle, stays under my desk while I study, too. I actually put one of his beds under there. He is the sweetest. He really helped me get through my first semester of nursing school.

The title actually made me sad! I understand school keeps us busy, but we have to spend time with our family and pets when we can! Life is short and precious.

everytime i open my book on my kitchen table, low and behold, Coco the cat comes up and sits right in the middle of my book so I cannot study, and she has a comfy place to sleep! Every single time...lol

Now, that I don't sit at the desk so much, my cat is having study withdrawal symptoms as he has no computer lap to sit on. (Just joking)

I feel horrible because my wonderful puppy dog has to stay inside my apartment for long hours at a time, waiting for me to get home. I don't know how to not feel I am neglecting her while I am in nursing school and trying to work! She's my best friend and she deserves so much. I sure hope she doesn't ever forget who I am. I love her so much and she has been there for me through so muchalready. I guess we both have to be strong for one more year!

I was so busy with working and nursing school and being a single mom that I had to give our dog away. Wish I could get him back now. I bought him for my daughter for Christmas from Santa and he was still the cutest puppy but I didn't have time to walk him and I felt like he needed more attention so I had to give away my $1500 Christmas present.

This is what my dogs do when I study to try to distract me. Works every time.
