It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Published

Clearly, one of the best things about being a school site nurse is the delightful schedule. I work at an elementary school with plenty going on all day. Just when I'm starting to feel emotionally exhausted...bam, vacation! One of the things I will not be taking for granted during vacation is: eating my lunch without being interrupted 10 times and having someone poop in my office restroom. What will you be grateful for during your winter break?

Today is our last day, too!! Woooot!! Sixteen days off!! WOOOOT!!!!

My last day too! Woo! I work another job so I will be there on Xmas eve and New Year's Day. Also possibly pick up a few days but I'll still have a lot of relaxation time!

Last day here as well!

Yippee!

My son moved up to junior high this year and he is not always happy to see me when I come on his campus. He was ok at the elementary school.

Something happens to kids in junior high . . . . . :sarcastic:

I had a kid today cut out part of his tongue. Yep, his tongue. They were watching a movie and the lights were off. Had a small "v" shape cut out of the tip of his tongue.

Ouch!!!

Happy Vacation to all

Huh. I don't think I'd like making that phone call to home. I, too, am curious what he used. I feel like someone would have noticed the kid with scissors in his mouth, but you never know.
