I am taking A/P I and II at the same time and we just got our midterm grades. I have a 95 average in both classes and I'm super excited!!! If I keep up the pace, I will get all my points for entry into the nursing program and have a REALLY good shot at getting in :) When I told people I was going to take both the courses at the same time (not by choice), all I got was "it's going to be really hard, I don't recommend it." One of my instructors even said "It's not IMPOSSIBLE, but other student's who have done it, do not recommend it, and would not do it again." So, I guess I am just giving myself a little pat on the back here, because it's been a lot of work and nobody around me seems to be as excited as I am at my accomplishment thus far. Thanks for listening

thats awesome, congrats! My school combines A&P 1 and 2 into one insane class. Its 6 credits and its the most insanely difficult class I have ever taken, but I am also getting an A. So congrats to us!
Yay, congrats to you too! It feels pretty good, doesn't it?

Awesome 4 you! Congrats!
Where I'm at you have to take those 1 at a time... A&P1 is a prereq for A&P2...
but seriously I am fearful enough at just taking 1 lol... G-d help me when I sign up so I down drown! :)

OMG I am taking it both in the same semester as well, people look at me crazy when I tell them! A lot of people told me that I was not going to be able to do it and so far I am making A's in both classes! I made 100 on my first AP I test! and I aced my AP II practical and now I have my 1st AP II test this Friday and I am pretty confident that I am going to make an A as well!I am glad that I am not the only one, its a lot of work also considering that I am taking Nursing Concepts, Dev Psych, Music APP :) So a pat on the back for both us! It just goes to show that you can do whatever you put your mind too:)

The first time around, I took them separately and got Cs. I didn't pay attention or anything. This time, I'm taking them at the same time and am maintaining As. My advisor told me I was insane, and hinted at me being stupid and desperate (the latter being true). It's alot of work, but definitely worth it. And now I get to gently rub it in her face that I got accepted when she said I wouldn't and should probably consider doing the LPN program instead. Anyways, congrats on the A's and keep up the hard work everyone!

Congratulations, ladies!
I'm taking APII and Micro at the same time; not too successful I'm afraid d/t my
Micro instructor is from Hades.......and my APII instructor gives tests that must be
spawned from Mars!
I think I should drop Micro and concentrate on APII and hope for a better instructor someplace else.
