Grad school is mostly scholarships. Johnson & Johnson has a terrific website for finding scholarships at discovernursing . com
Honestly, tuition is only 50 k and will increase your earning potential significantly. Heck you could make 50 k more a year depending on what you go to grad school for and your career goals etc. You are investing in yourself, don't be turned off by a little debt.
I know that there is financial aid for nursing graduate programs, including scholarships too. Depending where you want to apply, it means investigating what is possible. There is more than one way to skin a cat. And a previous OP's mention of looming faculty shortage is promising regarding financial aid.

To be specfic, if you use up all your dependent and independent financial aid, can you still get aid for graduate school? I don't consider scholarships financial aid because there not reliable. How long can one rely on scholarships when graduate school is $24k a year? Just wanted to know what options there are if any besides Sallie Mae loans?
