I am watching cnn outfront hosted by erin burnett. Throughout this program she has said the most offensive things about nurses that are outrageous. This journalist has no medical experience. Has never worked as a nurse. However, she is actively critizing somone as they fight for their life. This nurse made a huge sacrifice by caring for someone who had ebola. The head of the cdc blame the nurse, doctors are doing inteviews blame the nurse, people who have never worked in a medical setting blame the nurse. We as nurses need stand up and demand the truth be told.
Remember. ..corporate mainstream media...we as a society will never hear the truth-ever...not in this day and age. Save your energy-use it where it actually might make a modicum of difference...hands-on in the trenches. Follow the money-actually look who controls these "news" outlets. Of course there will be "blame" the USA is like a child in a constant fear state.
Regardless of whose fault it is, I would appreciate it if all of these news people, etc. would show more respect for a young lady who just might lose her life. At least I have not seen anything said along the lines of "those individuals that were beheaded by ISIS are at fault for going over there to begin with". I just wish there was more respect for human life.

I totally agree with you they are not showing any respect for this young nurse who might lose her life.
Nurses Reject 'Scapegoat' Accusations After CDC Head Blames 'Protocol Breach' for Dallas Nurse Infection of Ebola
Nurses and other healthcare experts have rejected the accusation by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention director Dr. Thomas Frieden that a "protocol breach" led to the infection of a Dallas nurse from Ebola, arguing that there should be no "scapegoats" made during a troubling situation like this.
"You don't scapegoat and blame when you have a disease outbreak," said Bonnie Castillo, a registered nurse and a disaster relief expert at National Nurses United, according to Reuters on Monday. "We have a system failure. That is what we have to correct."...
