Pre algebra math
and should I add strategies for college or study skills. I have pretty good study skills...I feel that I need to take the pre algebra math class because my Nursing Entrance Exam will have 60 math based questions and I'm pretty sure I will bomb it because I need a refreshing on math and I've been avoiding math so far. I am an A student and I've taken 11 credit hours of classes in the summer. I've only taken 10 credit hours this fall semester. Im getting an high A in microbiology. Do you think I can handle it and do you think study skills or strategies for college is needful at the moment. Thanks.

why would you consider taking pre-algebra and dosage and calculations at the same time? If you need to brush up on math then the pre-algebra would be fine.. and the dosage and calculations should provide you with enough math to handle the entrance exam.
that being said ---seems like this should be a very doable load...

Depends on what your non school life consist of. I have 3 kids and average 15 credit hours a semester just fine :)

I think you are doing just fine :) its very much doable but as mentioned, your life outside of school is a major factor to consider

depending on how good you are with pre algebra its doable BUT math is really demanding and so is a&p. ..check and see if your school offers math workshops. good luck

It is very doable. I love math so, of course the hardest on the list was A&P for me, mainly because of the amount of information and little time. Plus, to be going into A&P2 you have an idea of how demanding that class is. A&P2 isn't as bad as A&P1 in my opinion. If you did not struggle in A&P1 you should definitely be fine.

I'm not sure how good you are at math but I would take two math classes together.

This sounds like a very manageable schedule... and if you are already a good student, I see no point in a "study strategies" class.
If you've got a high A in microbiology, it sounds like you already know how to study.

Without having read the other comments I strongly recommend not taking the math class. Check out khanacademy.org I was placed into basic math and have avoided taking my math classes because I hate it. I started using khan academy about three weeks ago to study for retaking the math assessment so I could place into a higher math class. I taught myself pre-algebra in about 4 or 5 days spending 5 hours a day on it. I've never been able to understand and do math the way I can now and I'm halfway through geometry and algebra 2.

Doesn't look too bad. Depends on your math skills really - I did a similar schedule myself, took a mere 12 hours and 5 of them were math - my math skills were terrible, hadn't done algebra in 5 years, etc, so i purposefully took less hours in order to free up time to study and be tutored.
It works.
