Long story short I took 3 non related courses to my nursing degree this summer and man was that a mistake
I honestly do not care about these courses and it's making my summer terrible that I've wasted so much time on classes I don't need
I'm 30 mins away from my sociology final and I've barely studied and I could care less
Only thing that's worrying me if that this could drop my GPA but I am just done
Is this terrible?

It's called being burnt out and I've been there before. I took this summer off because I've been going non-stop for so long... I knew that I couldn't pass up the break and still be ready for school in the fall.
You're so right! Like all I want to do is relax! At least after today I have 3 weeks to do nothing before class starts

Sociology is relevant to nursing. Don't believe me? Wait til clinicals.

I also took 3 classes this summer after taking a full load plus extra for the last 2 years. I almost lost it about half way through the semester. But, I pulled out 3 As by the skin of my teeth.
Oh, and I have to agree with the above statement. Sociology is a huge part of nursing!

Sociology is a prereq for our program. SoldierNurse is right.

Why? I don't understand why you would waste time or money on courses that aren't pre or co reqs? Soc was a pre req for me.
