I'm just trying to pass time, I sent in my application a while ago. We are supposed to find out supposedly after this week! Just wanted to know if ANYONE at all was going through this process of waiting. It's driving me crazy!!!!! Lol
I am #6 alternate out of 6 for my program. If that doesn't bite! :) I'd rather be either in OR out. Something clean like that. This could go on all summer.
Well, I'm ready to stop worrying about it. There's only so much wasted time one wants to admit to...you know? Good luck to us all! :)
Or apps had to be in on January 15th. We found out back in march and I got in!!! I'm glad we knew early because it is expensive and it gives me a chance to spread out the things I have to purchase.
@EKU2013 are you going to Eastern Kentucky University? I am in the program at Western Kentucky univ.
I applied April 1st and we don't find out until the last week of July!! The program starts August 8, so the wait is driving me crazy. I think that's too small of a window to get all the things done that we need, plus prepare for the overall lifestyle change that comes with nursing school. I'm getting quite anxious, but it doesn't do me any good! Congrats to all of those who have been accepted already, I hope to be joining your ranks!
I got my acceptance letter to the program-at-large (ADN), but I've already completed the semester of pre-reqs (except for psychology, which I'm CLEPing), so I had to fill out a second application to get accepted to start the actual nursing stuff in the Fall. I don't know how much space is available, how many people are applying, how competitive it is, or even when I'm supposed to find out!! I'm very anxious.
I'm waiting to hear from UNLV, the calls won't go out until mid July then we only have a couple of weeks to prepare. I think I'm more scared to be accepted than to be denied...I have no experience whatsoever in the medical field. It will be like moving to another part of the world and learning a new language, culture and mind set, behavior etc. And don't even mention the cost...that always sends my heart rate skyrocketing.
