Is anyone else going absolutely crazy???

I really do think that I am going insane over the fact that I don't know if I will be accepted! I'm sure it is completely natural to worry in the back of your mind and hope for the best, but I am obsessing over it! Haha. I am constantly checking this message board and searching for any possible information that will clue me in to see if I have any remote chance of getting in (which I know doesn't help), and reading every single post even related to my school. :barf02:

Haha just wondering if I am completely nuts! Anyone else have this problem? Or does anyone know how to get me to quit thinking about it???! 40 more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :trout:

You're not the only one. I and, i'm sure many others, are anxious. I have about a month left to find out if I'm in or out and til then have numerous hurdles to jump over. Just keep yourself busy and try to stay optimistic.

Even though I am 99% sure I'll be in the program for Spring, I am still anxiously awaiting my letter (because of that 1% doubt). I feel the closer I get to getting it, the more crazy I am getting about it!! I've got about 1 month til I get the letter (give or take a little time).

There is NOTHING that will get you to stop talking/thinking about it!!! And those around you will just have to suffer with you as you talk about it...LOL. I usually just tell myself not to talk about it, even if I am thinking about it. I don't want to drive my husband completely insane!!!

The only thing I CAN suggest...keep busy. Find something to take up your time. I am a mom and I work full-time, so I think that helps me!!! Even though time is going by fast, it's not fast enough!!!

Good luck and I hope you get in!!! Confirmation is the only thing that can help us and once we get that, do you think we'll stop talking about it??? Nope, it'll just be on to a new subject!!! :lol2:

I'm there with you! :lol2: I know I have a decent shot at being accepted, based on what several nursing advisors have told me, but I want it so much that I'm afraid something will go wrong. lol

Thankfully we're supposed to know by mid-October. I just keep hoping that *maybe* just *maybe* they'll send it a little earlier than that! :roll

Good luck to you!!! :D :D :D

Yes I feel the same way! I have a small doubt, except for me that small doubt is starting to overpower the 99% part and now I am afraid that I won't get in! haha. I hope that you get in too! I think I am going to start an excercise program or something to ease the stress and pass the time!

Yeah I keep thinking the worst! Atleast you will know this month! You can do it!

Thanks! Yes, I feel relieved I'll know this month. By the same token, though, if I'm NOT in, then I know that much sooner. lol I understand what you're saying about the small doubt overpowering everything else right now! I keep trying not to think about it, but it's not working very well. :lol2:

I know I still have a shawdow of a doubt too so I want the solid answer in my hand before rejoicing lol.

I hate waiting, I know I have done all I can do to get in so its not in my hands anymore. I am trying to keep busy but its insane having to wait, I think about it every single day every hour minute etc...Its a long way till January.

Catzy--

You don't find out until January?????!! Or you would start in January? Because if you had to wait until then, I have no room to complain!

I will start in January if I get in. I'll find out end of November early december, 6-8 weeks from 10/1/07.

We have a lot we need to do once we find out if we are in, they expect us to take the TEAS exam, background check, medical examination, CPR, orientation.. And most schools have a long holiday break, so wondering how all of that will work out.

Believe me you are not the only one going bonkers with anticipation. Luckily my school has rolling admissions so you are suppossed to find out within three weeks of turning in all your application requirements. But that can be a loooong three weeks Hang in there-like I'm trying to do!! Just think about how even more excited you'll be once you get that acceptance letter the anticipation will make it even better!!!
