Hello everyone. I'm currently enrolled in my last set of pre-reqs for the RN program. In my microbiology classs, I noticed there is high anxiety because the applicant pool looks strong this year and 90% of my class are nursing applicants. I would like to start a support group, for passing along information, questions, advice, or just emotional guidance. We can all be nurses. We can all do it. Let's help each other get there! Does anyone have any tips for the NLN exam? Unfortunately, I have class and cannot attend the free review sessions.
For the LPN students, I understand the current students informing us to start in January, even if we have the CNA course completed. But I have a job that I can use to my advantage for that month and a half. Because once I start, my hours have to be cut. I am slightly worried that I won't have a study group, when I come in February, but it seems worth it to me. I just completed six weeks of CNA!

I think it would be worth it to just go through the whole thing. I spoke to a person in nursing 3 the other day and I asked about the advance placement and he said the people that came in later struggled pretty bad.

Yes, I've heard similar and it seems you have to jump through hoops anyways to prove your competency. You have to do some type of validation test. I guess too much knowledge is never an issue. I'll start in January.

Hey guys. I just believe the signed handbooks. What money for the shirts? .... I was so frustrated with her delivery so it was hard to focus. That's why I spoke up. How can you be upset with us for not asking if we have each and every immunization? There are so damn many and we have to fish them out sometimes ....
