IRSC Spring 2016 hopefuls!

Hello everyone. I'm currently enrolled in my last set of pre-reqs for the RN program. In my microbiology classs, I noticed there is high anxiety because the applicant pool looks strong this year and 90% of my class are nursing applicants. I would like to start a support group, for passing along information, questions, advice, or just emotional guidance. We can all be nurses. We can all do it. Let's help each other get there! Does anyone have any tips for the NLN exam? Unfortunately, I have class and cannot attend the free review sessions.

Is the background check part of the fingerprinting we have to schedule cant remember

Yes you had to sign the paper that we as a group had such diffuclty passing to one another.

Hon, if you are not sure when you scheduled you background check i suggest you call the Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex at 772-462-7961. ASAP

I just did my background check, everyone was so friendly and nice. I saw the guy crossed my name off a long list with other names.

Did anyone else receive scholarship from IRSC? Scholarships letters are out today. I just received the letter in my IRSC Rivermail with my scholarship. This is turning out to be an awesome year!!

I got a scholarship for $1300. I am so happy!! Also, I do believe the background check is accessed through your fingerprints if I am not mistaken.

where would I go to inquire about scholarships or apply for them or is it to late

I think it's too late now. I had applied since May. It's just coming through now $5800 in scholarships so far. You can get it for next year because you will still be in the program. Search on the IRSC websites for on the Quick links tab at the center of the main page click on " Apply for Scholarship"
