IRSC Spring 2016 hopefuls!

Hello everyone. I'm currently enrolled in my last set of pre-reqs for the RN program. In my microbiology classs, I noticed there is high anxiety because the applicant pool looks strong this year and 90% of my class are nursing applicants. I would like to start a support group, for passing along information, questions, advice, or just emotional guidance. We can all be nurses. We can all do it. Let's help each other get there! Does anyone have any tips for the NLN exam? Unfortunately, I have class and cannot attend the free review sessions.

Does anybody by chance know the school schedule for the RN program? I might have a pretty good job that's willing to work around my schedule but they need to know what days/times I won't be available. I'm trying to let him know as soon as possible.

Yes it was. There is a lot of hoops to jump through in a short time period.

I agree, the amount of things they require in such a short amount of time is kind of crazy. Really stresses me out. Esp since I go through the VA for my schooling and for Health needs. Their delayed with everything. I've been waiting for 2 weeks just for a consult with my doctor. Can't wait to see how they're going to respond to this

I know i've asked this before, but I was kind of expecting to get the schedule today and was really disappointed when they said we had to wait another week. I have a great work study job lined up... but they need my schedule:( Or at least an idea. Does ANYBODY by chance know the slightest bit what the schedule might be or the hours they expect?

If you are asking for when we start in jan than I was told by someone I spoke to in the office (forget her name) that the schedule looks something like 7am-4/5pm mon & thurs clinical days 6am-(possible) 6pm tues & Wed.

A friend of mine that just started the program in August said the first semester is... Lecture on Mondays 8-1. Lab Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30-12:30 and Friday's are test day 8-10am. No school Thursday and you can take the Monday class online and still attend class whenever you can. Hope this helps.

Is the background check part of the fingerprinting we have to schedule cant remember
