Hello everyone. I'm currently enrolled in my last set of pre-reqs for the RN program. In my microbiology classs, I noticed there is high anxiety because the applicant pool looks strong this year and 90% of my class are nursing applicants. I would like to start a support group, for passing along information, questions, advice, or just emotional guidance. We can all be nurses. We can all do it. Let's help each other get there! Does anyone have any tips for the NLN exam? Unfortunately, I have class and cannot attend the free review sessions.

Everyone just turns in their book. You can include your work on extra notebook pages. You have to make sure you show your work.

Is anyone going to that Nurse 1 Drug Calculations thing tomorrow? I wasn't sure if we needed to go or if we had to bring something or be in dress code. The e-mail was very vague.

I planned on going, but their is no dress code, that I know of. It's just a math session to help us with drug dosage and IV calculations.

so for the math homework, you turn in the whole book, if you own the book, you can do the work right in the actual book, or if you are renting the book, photocopy the pages and turn that in. most people just turned the entire book in. they will let you know if you didn't do it right and will let you redo the homework.

Hello everyone, I just applied to the LPN program at IRSC & I have to wait til after August 1st to apply to the RN program. I decided to apply to both so I'll have a shot of getting in one of them. I finished all my pre reqs for RN at Keiser. Unfortunately IRSC has not evaluated my transcripts yet & I took them on June 30th. I was not able to go to any of the review sessions & I'm going to another info session this Thursday.

Even though I went last year someone in the nursing dept said it's only good for one year. I'm nervous about taking this entrance exam because I'm so worried I won't get a good score. If anyone has taken the test how is it. I know IRSC has changed their test & they haven't decided what the minimum score will be.

This group aged like fine wine. Remember back when I just started out joining the ADN nursing program, now 5 years after graduation I'm in the MSN Nurse Practitioner program. Hope everyone is doing well
