IRSC Spring 2016 hopefuls!

Hello everyone. I'm currently enrolled in my last set of pre-reqs for the RN program. In my microbiology classs, I noticed there is high anxiety because the applicant pool looks strong this year and 90% of my class are nursing applicants. I would like to start a support group, for passing along information, questions, advice, or just emotional guidance. We can all be nurses. We can all do it. Let's help each other get there! Does anyone have any tips for the NLN exam? Unfortunately, I have class and cannot attend the free review sessions.

So that's another thing to study for...I wonder what happens if you get accepted but don't get the required score needed on the tabe for the RN program. Does any body know?

I'm happy I took it and it's good for 2 years. You may have to check with nursing department.

Anyone have an idea of when the mandatory meeting might be?

If I'm not mistaken, the only people that need a TABE are people who have been inactive for a long period of time. Someone returning to the college after a decade or so. I didn't take it, and if what I was told is true, I didn't need it.

The mandatory meeting is Friday Nov the 13, 2015. I hope it will be a good day unlike the superstition Fri the 13th

jklstrive where did you hear that?are you sure? Reason im asking is inthe event that idoget accepted, ive been doing the emt program to past time.. and i have mandatory fields days scheduled for october that i need to complete to finish the course.

I did emt too...mn financially nursing must take precedent. I do maintenance right now and would take a major pay cut to do non emergency transport. Emt firefighters sounds like a cool job but a lot of them become nurses later.

Hi guys!! I took my NLN for RN a few weeks ago and scored a 135 and have 27 points for my prereqs. I am stressing so hard! I hope I scored high enough to get in! I am not an LPN or EMT or anything, so I am sad about not having that priority.

I read it in the ADN program packet. I am absolutely 100% certain that is Fri November 13, 2015. Can anyone back me up. I am at work and I don't have my laptop with the Spring 2016 program packet that I had downloaded
