IRSC Spring 2016 hopefuls!

Published

Hello everyone. I'm currently enrolled in my last set of pre-reqs for the RN program. In my microbiology classs, I noticed there is high anxiety because the applicant pool looks strong this year and 90% of my class are nursing applicants. I would like to start a support group, for passing along information, questions, advice, or just emotional guidance. We can all be nurses. We can all do it. Let's help each other get there! Does anyone have any tips for the NLN exam? Unfortunately, I have class and cannot attend the free review sessions.

Hi everyone! I'm applying to the RN program for the Spring as well. My NLN score is 123 and my total admissions score is 148. I know I'm at the lower end of the scores for admissions, but only time will tell. If I don't get in this spring I will try again for LPN and RN in the fall. Best of luck to everyone!

I am in the same boat. I have a total score of 148, best of luck to you!

Totally of topic but anyone else see the story that the founder of this site murder suicided his whole family this week

(Double post) Other post is below this one.

Wow. No I missed that news. That's crazy

Saw this thread and figured I'd add to it.

I applied to both the RN, and LPN program.

My NLN-RN score is 128

Class points are - 27

Total points towards the RN program is 155

My NLN-PN score is 133

So now just waiting for the letters to be sent out. Can't wait to "hopefully" see most of you in class come January.

GOOD Luck to everyone. Time is winding down Thank God

I applied for the LPN program, but no one told me anything about a tab test. Was wondering if that's only required if you haven't already placed in college level classes?

They told me it's required so I went ahead and took. 11.0 is required for lpn and 12.00 for RN. On the other hand, all my college classes are completed.

Wait,i didnt know the tabe was a requirement:nailbiting:

It is not required at this point of the application process. I believe it is required for those who get accepted into the program before the first day of class.
