Hello everyone. I'm currently enrolled in my last set of pre-reqs for the RN program. In my microbiology classs, I noticed there is high anxiety because the applicant pool looks strong this year and 90% of my class are nursing applicants. I would like to start a support group, for passing along information, questions, advice, or just emotional guidance. We can all be nurses. We can all do it. Let's help each other get there! Does anyone have any tips for the NLN exam? Unfortunately, I have class and cannot attend the free review sessions.
Hi all! It's awesome to see a site like this. Just wished I found it sooner. I took my first nln test forfor RN and recieved a 119. Over all 137( definitely not the best I know). I bought the practice book and really studied, but recieved a 120 when I took it for 2nd time. Very frustrating to say the least. So being a Cna, I decided to try the Lpn route - again I studied vigorously for Nln and recieved a score of just 119 today, hoping to get in for 2016 spring. I waswas hoping that after taking it two times prior that I would be better - but no my anxiety always gets the best of me.
Usually about 200 to as much as 400 applicants i think, the last Nursing info session i went to was so full people had to be standing, plus add that to other info sessions prior to that...It varies but i have no idea how many are there this time alone. One thing i know for sure they only accept a total of 70 applicant at any given time. Hope this helps!
I know, right. Im having trouble focusing on my fall classes because of this. I am having trouble falling asleep because of this. Im stressed because of this. Next Thursday or Friday may be the day we know. I made sure i set my IRSC Rivermail notifications to go straight to my phone. Ahhhh:sarcastic:

Candice, Its a very slow process, when i was transferred from another college, (Miami Dade College), they did not evaluate my transcript until 8 weeks later and that was after I saw my advisor and she emailed someone on my behalf and that was how they started processing it. Otherwise, i dont know how long it would have taken....Go to the college and speak to an advisor about it just to be on the safe side.
