Hey everyone! I know this is super early to be talking about the fall semester but I just got my denial letter for the Spring 2014 semester so I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying or didn't make it in like me. I got a 109 score on my NLN exam which makes my total points for program 130. I took A&P I & Micro which accounts for my points. I would like to retake the NLN in 6 months & hopefully I can do much better. I'm currently enrolled in A&P II & plan on just studying my butt off for the nln in the process. Classes I have left before I'm done with all my "pre-requisites" are A&P II (which I'm currently in), Chemistry, and Nutrition. (which I plan on taking those in spring/summer). Maybe we can get a study group together eventually if anyone is interested! Best of luck to everyone! :)
Yeah I wasn't able to get passed level one either, I'm hoping the questions are like those on the prepu tests because then a least we have an idea of the formatting of questions.
Classes we got points for were A&P I and II with labs, micro with lab, and the NLN. I don't know if they've changed it, but that's what it was when I applied.
As far as the tube feeding goes including the different types and solutions/nutrients, it is in Ch 36 in "The Nursing Process" section. I don't know if this will be on the test, but it was in our reading material and our prepu quizzes, so I'm going to learn it.
Not bad at all, I figured I'd get a B on my first exam. I think some really good advice atleast as far as my test, was go back and re read the questions after your done, if any your unsure of mark them. After that look back and make sure you have the right ones bubbled in on the scantron (as stupid as that sounds I bubbled in the wrong one 2 times on this test!). I also changed answers on unsure ones that got me 3 extra questions, you have to think 5 questions is 10 points so I would have gotten an 84, pretty comparable to your own score. Just advice and my two cents, feel free to take it or leave it.

It is overwhelming, I just graduated from Graduate school at UF this summer and honestly my workload was less I think. But one thing they give you as good advice, is get one thing done today, focus on what you can get done, otherwise it will overwhelm you. I don't know how people do the accelerated one year BSN, that's just crazy.
