IRSC Fall 2014 Hopefuls!

Hey everyone! I know this is super early to be talking about the fall semester but I just got my denial letter for the Spring 2014 semester so I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying or didn't make it in like me. I got a 109 score on my NLN exam which makes my total points for program 130. I took A&P I & Micro which accounts for my points. I would like to retake the NLN in 6 months & hopefully I can do much better. I'm currently enrolled in A&P II & plan on just studying my butt off for the nln in the process. Classes I have left before I'm done with all my "pre-requisites" are A&P II (which I'm currently in), Chemistry, and Nutrition. (which I plan on taking those in spring/summer). Maybe we can get a study group together eventually if anyone is interested! Best of luck to everyone! :)

Congrats everyone! I got an 88, which I'm happy with! Silly me should have went with my instinct on two of them!! Oh well. I'm glad it's over and now time to prepare for the next one :linkme:

Good job everyone, hey I have a question I've gone through and wrote notes on my Wellness Assessment, should it be in paragraph format with complete sentences or just list things after the questions on the paper supplied?

Anyone who has done the math homework for next week- is number 43 in chapter 17 incorrect in the answers? It has to be 1 & 1/2 tabs but the answer key says 1...

Gators, I'm pretty sure she said just to list things cause I remember her saying not to put "n/a" but "no" instead. I'm gonna email her just to make sure though so I'll let you know. And thank you annasmum !

For the self wellness, everything can be listed except for the second section where it asks questions like "What does health mean to you?" "Do you perceive yourself as healthy?", etc.

Okay, I have a stupid question. When the self assessment says "do you adhere to therapeutic recommendations?" What does that mean.

Do you do what you are told by your health care provider? Like do you take antibiotics as prescribed and until they are finished, do you do the exercises the physio tells you to do etc
