  1. Yes, I was planning on going. That way I can get my student ID and any books I might still need. You should have had an email about the 6824 class and the books today. I emailed the DNp coordinator and they will do the program orientation on 5/13 either befor or after class.
  2. I am following the MSN thread and saw that there is a program orientation that was mentioned on their acceptance notification. I don't remember seeing anything like that on my notification and have not received an email about orientation for the DNP program. I know there were a couple of emails that I never received or received super late. Did anyone hear about program orientation? And just to double check the graduate college orientation is not mandatory? TIA
  3. I was accepted into the DNP track at Boca. We start classes in May and our notifications were sent much earlier than the MSN track (interviewed 2/15, status changed 2/26 and received email 2/27). I have just under 2 years of nursing, finished BSN with a 4.0 in December (ADN was 3.7), and passed my CCRN end of January. I have been volunteering with the medical reserve corps since last summer and am involved with the councils at my hospital. During the info session they stressed how important volunteering and being engaged outside of school is. Having memberships to the nursing association or specialties also helps. If you have an invitation to join Sigma Theta Tau that can't hurt either. They do not just look at your GPA.
  4. So I completed everything they mentioned in my admission letter. The only thing left is the actual fingerprinting. I sent my fingerprinting release form last week. Do you know if they contact us with a where and when?
  5. They have started sending out conditional acceptance emails. But it might be that's just for the DNP students if they fill those spaces first. In that case MSN students might have to wait until the DNP slots are filled. So I would not give up hope yet.
  6. Just got my email í ½í¸Ší ¼í¾‰í ¼í½¾
  7. @ goldfinger Did the email come to your private email directly from the nursing college or from the graduate college? My status changed yesterday but no email yet. I am super excited but still nervous until I have the official ok. Is your status conditional too?
  8. Congrats!!! I haven't received an email yet but my status changed. Hoping that the email will follow soon.
  9. I just checked my admission status and it changed to conditionally accepted. So I am cautiously optimistic.
  10. Does anyone remember the last day for interviews? The wait is killing me and I'm just trying to figure out the earliest day that they might contact us.
  11. I never realized that some of the programs are mostly online. My classes are on campus at least once a week which I actually like. I would have thought it is a good sign that they asked you about the Harbor Branch Campus.
  12. I hope so too. The wait is killing me. I applied for the FNP concentration at the Boca campus.
  13. I started way early, sometime last spring applied to the graduate college and my nursing application last September. I finalized everything with supporting documents last day of January.
  14. It's really difficult to say how it went. The interviewers were very nice and friendly but they keep the interview very generic and you cannot ask questions. I think it's to make it easier to compare candidates. I wonder if it is a good sign if you are asked to come for an interview or if they see more candidates than they have spaces for.
  15. I also applied for the BSN-DNP program and interviewed on 2/15. I was told we'd have to wait until the first or second week in April to hear back 😪
