How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.

I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.

Hi all...

My name is Alexandra (Alex for short), I'm 25, no kids, divorced but happily dating, and I just finished my second semester in an ADN program. This is a second career for me, and so far it's the hardest thing I've ever done, but it's worth it! I really hope to be graduating a year from now!:smokin:

Hi all...

My name is Scarlett and I'm 22.....this is my 4th year in school (2 yrs at university, 2nd year at tech) and this fall will be starting clincials. 10 classes to go and I hopefully will have my ADN :) Seems as though I have been way around the block to get to where I am today, but it will be worth it in the end. Hope to get to know a lot of you all throughout the rest of my nursing classes.

Hi everyone!

My name is Rossana and I'm an older student (43 years) and I'm in my third semester of a 2-year RN program. I live in Lancaster California. I just finished a summer of precepting in the Recovery Room. Loved it! If everything goes well, I will graduate Spring of 2007.

Hi I'm Shellie from Ohio. I'm a married mother of five who has finally decided to return to school. I'm going into my second quarter of an LPN program and I have my first actual nursing class tomorrow. I'm absolutely terrified and constantly wonder if I'm actually smart enough to handle all of this. I'm so glad I found a community of caring and compassionate individuals that will understand where I'm coming from. *Wish me luck* ;)

Specializes in NICU.

I don't THINK I responded to this, but if I did it would've been a while ago when I was pre-nursing...

My name's Heidi, I'm 17 I'm from California and I just finished my first semester of nursing school (ADN) :D I want to go into the NICU, maybe PICU and I want to eventually be a nurse practitioner (probably NNP).
