Visa Worries

Our family was interviewed last August 2005 at the US Embassy in Manila. My wife and I got our visas two days after the interview. I am worried because we have not yet received the visas of our children and it's already been almost a month since our interview. During the interview, we were informed that our documents are complete and in order. The consul did not ask any additional documents from us so we assumed that everything was ok. Upon inquiry at the embassy, I was told that they are still processing the visas of my kids. I am wondering why our visas were not processed/released at the same time and why it's taking them so long to process/release the visa of my kids. Does anybody in this forum experienced or is experiencing the same thing? Can anybody comment on this? A reply will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Suzanne4 and everybody,

I just got my visa screen after i paid last August 2005 and my agency is mailing my contract to me, Thanks GOD they wanted me to submit all the ORIGINAL certificate like CGFNS, IELTS and VISA Screen certificate to them is it really necessary for them to file it for me to the appropriate goverment agencies for my visa? They told me their mailing some important papers to fill up. So can anybody tell me whats the next step after i submit my documents to my agency because as far as i know i will be needing these for the interview at US embassy after i complete all documents and procedures isn't.? Please i need good advice. Thanks and GOD BLESS

HI. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ORIGINALS . YOU WILL NEED THEM FOR THE EMBASSY INTERVIEW,AND IF THEY LOST THEM YOU WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO GET COPIES. BESIDES, THEY DON'T NEED THE ORIGINALS, JUST PHOTOCOPIES. EVEN AT THE EMBASSY THEY WIL ONLY SEE THE ORIGINALS AND ONLY KEEP PHOTOCOPIES. DON'T SEND THEM PLEASE!!

Hello.

Does anybody know why VERMONT SERVICE CENTER is processing approvals of I-140 slower? And will I run out of visas by the time I get approved? My priority date is May 23,2005. It would help me a lot if anybody could answer me anything.. coz i am losing hope on my case.

QUESTION FOR ALL APPLICANTS IN THE PHILIPPINES:

This is about NSO Birth Certificates and Marriage Certificates...

DUE TO THE HIGH FRAUD BEING COMMITTED IN THE PHILIPPINES we all know that every six months the NSO Paper is changing its color and design...THOUGH WE ALL KNOW THAT THE INFORMATION THAT WOULD BE CONTAINED IN YOUR BIRTH OR MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE WILL STILL BE THE SAME THREE YEARS OR NOW...

My question is that would it be OK to submit NSO Authenticated Birth Certificates/ Marriage Certificates which are three years old? I mean if the NVC can still check and identify the security print on that paper i think there is no problem besides NVC/ US Embassy did not specify that BC/MC have expirations dates (ONLY NBI clearances are valid for one year)

please share your experiences...

I think to be sure just get the latest NSO certificates. Its inexpensive anyway. The US embassy was and can be duped by fake documents. This is the reason that it has to be changed every 6 mos. so that it will make it hard to fake the documents. I don't know if the embassy has particular instructions that NSO cert. should be the latest or not. But why risk it for just couple of bucks, it will just delay you. just my two cents. :)

hi i a have filed my visa from vermount which slowed down i dont know why can someone tell me about it ,my agency said that they will file my visascreen once they get report of my visa but some other person told me it can be done early i want to do that is it possible becoz it will save time isn't.

The Visa Screen can be applied for now and should be.

Please review some of the other recent posts, it will tell you all about the slowdown in Vermont.
