I'm scared for my score!!

Ahhh! I take the NET for the second time today!! I'm just soo nervous and i really don't know what to expect! Csantos told me just to relax, but its hard to!! I'm really trying to though, b/c i know i will do better on it if i am relaxed. when i look at all these people who got great scores on it, it just makes me even more nervous!! Well, wish me luck!

Csantos gave you some great advice. Do some deep breathing before you go in and try to slow yourself down (don't answer everything too quickly). And, GOOD LUCK!!!

I agree. Just relax. This is how I look at it when I am walking into the room about to take any test: I've done all the studying I could. At this point, there's nothing more that I can do. All I can do is take this test and perform to the best of my ability.

Usually that helps. It eases my mind. Everyone has a technique that works for them. If you come to a question that totally freaks you out, close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, and tell yourself that you can do it. Then, answer it to the best of your ability, and move on quickly. There's no point wasting time on hard questions when you could be through three easy questions and know you got them right.

Anyway, good luck on the test!!!! I know you will do great!!!! Nursing school is not that far away! You should be excited, not nervous.;)

Well, i got an 83 composite score. i scored a 98 in math, but only a 67 in reading. And my school requires at least a 70 to get in:crying2:. i did a lot better than last time though, but i am still disappointed. And whats crazy is that the things that i did poorly in last time, i had great scores in, and the things i did great in last time, i had a poor score in. Idk, its confusing. So i scheduled my last try (3rd time) next week. I dont know if i can deal with all the stress anymore though. If i dont pass this next time then i can just kiss my nursing dreams goodbye:cry:. So i just dont know what to do......

Don't give up. Just pray and it will be ok.:wink2:

I agree with meyun06, you shouldn't give up. Besides for a BSN you don't even have to take the NET...I'm not sure how it works, or whether or not you pay a fee to take the NET or if you can't take it more than three times. But if nursing is what you really want to do, then do it and don't kiss it good bye...

Absolutely agree with MotivatedOne. You don't need the NET for a BSN -- just keep going forward and don't look back!

I thought on the NET test if you passed one subject but failed another you wouldnt have to take the entire test over just the subject you failed. I take my test today, and i am also scared.
