Ahhh! I take the NET for the second time today!! I'm just soo nervous and i really don't know what to expect! Csantos told me just to relax, but its hard to!! I'm really trying to though, b/c i know i will do better on it if i am relaxed. when i look at all these people who got great scores on it, it just makes me even more nervous!! Well, wish me luck!
Well, i got an 83 composite score. i scored a 98 in math, but only a 67 in reading. And my school requires at least a 70 to get in:crying2:. i did a lot better than last time though, but i am still disappointed. And whats crazy is that the things that i did poorly in last time, i had great scores in, and the things i did great in last time, i had a poor score in. Idk, its confusing. So i scheduled my last try (3rd time) next week. I dont know if i can deal with all the stress anymore though. If i dont pass this next time then i can just kiss my nursing dreams goodbye:cry:. So i just dont know what to do......
No, i wish!! you have to take the entire thing over again!!! and they wont mix and match the scores, they take the best composite score from one single test.............good luck on your test!!!! is this your first time???
yes it was my first time. I have a question there was 30 math questions and i only made it to 23 are the remainder 7 considerd wrong since i didnt get to answer them.
Well when i took mine, there were 60 math problems and i had 60 minutes. and if i didnt finish any, then they would be marked wrong. Was your test on the computer? Im surprised that you only had 30 problems. How many reading questions did you have? And how much time. I had 33 questions and 30 minutes to complete them. What was your reading score??

I have to wait till next week to get my score. It was not on a computer. It is for a private school, i dont know if that matters. I had 30 math questions with 30 mins to complete. 33 reading with 30 mins to complete
I'm amazed you failed the reading section. Your topics and responses are well written. I see people on the forums that can barely put two words together in a logical manner. Do you have test anxiety on that section?
Wait, i guess you would be referring to me, seeing that we dont know what iwillbeanurse08 got on her reading portion yet!!!!!!
Well, I didnt really have any test anxiety the first time i took it. Then after i failed and prepared to take it a second time, i was getting pretty nervous. But i dont really think i had any mental blocking or anything when i took it a second time. i was extremly nervous because i wanted to pass, but i tried to relax and i could still concentrate. I think i just focused too much of my attention on the things i did bad on the first time, and less attention on what i did good on (and the scores ended up swapping places!). I just need to focus on EVERY question now (which was initially the plan!) But i am definatly getting some test anxiety being that it is my third time, and i am EXTREMELY nervous now............but everyones support is helping me get through this and is so much appreciated!!!! Thank you everyone

Thats exactly how i felt. I was fine before the test. I think i was focusing on each individual question to much, which took away alot of time from me. I know better for the second time around. 2bNurseLove419 did you finish all your reading questions?

I thought on the NET test if you passed one subject but failed another you wouldnt have to take the entire test over just the subject you failed. I take my test today, and i am also scared.
