When I was in second grade I had gullian burae syndrome for two weeks and I fully recuperated . However , I can't get flu shot because it cud re-trigger gullian burae syndrome .I am starting nursing school in fall 2015 and my nursing liaison got me a clinical hospital that does not require flu shot . I just want to hear what people think of my situation and do you think it will be a problem getting a good job in a a good hospital after I graduate thank you .

You should have no trouble given your medical history. You will likely be required to wear a mask during the flu season. Nobody here is going to think anything negative about your situation.
Yes sorry for misspelling I meant that. Thank you .It's not weird for pateints to have their nurse wearing a mask?

Nope. You just say "I'm unable to get the flu shot, so I'm wearing the mask for your protection."

I had GBS in 2012. During clinicals I had to wear a mask through flu season and at my current job will have to as well. When patients or staff asked I just said I couldn't get the flu shot.

When I was in post partum after my second daughter was born, my nurse wore a mas and just said " Hi, I'm so and so and will be your nurse for the night. Pardon my mask but I can't get a flu shot so I wear a mask for everyones safety. This was pre nursing school and it didnt phase me a bit as a patient. I have seen quite a few other mask wearing nurses in clinical and no one seems to bat an eye at it. I'm sure you may occasionally will get a patient who has an issue, but I can't imagine it being a common occurrence.
