Can this be right?
I'm 57 years old, it's 3 days until end of 3rd semester of nursing school, and a teacher calls me to his office and kicks me out of school...
because I am MENTALLY ILL ..
My IPR Nov 8-State Hospital PSYCHIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH clinical (yep you read right!) client was talking about 3 suicide attempts the past 3 months.....
I said, "Tell me about the last suicide attempt, if you don't mind."
Teacher SLAMMED his fist on the table and screamed, "Suicide isn't her problem! YOU'RE the one with the problem!" NOTHING I did was right he said and HE TALKED TO HER for 30 minutes or so, I was in shock TOTALLY..I'd never had trouble I've only seen him 6 clinical days my whole life and those days he was never in the same room to my knowledge except first 30 min and wrap up 30 ...IT WAS HORRIBLE!
I let it be cause ????? and today..he called me to come up the school..FAILED...he said! cause I'm MENTALLY ILL and a team of doctors can't fix me!
Today he did ADD ..after I signed some paper ..2nd paper in my student file - one for that IRC something Nov 9 ...and one today for something
.......................OR ALZHEIMERS!...............
and I am kicked out! now WHAT IN THE WORLD...
this can't be happening RIGHT?
This post is one of several by different posters about the outrageous personalities of their clinical instructors. I have never had a clinical instructor treat anyone anywhere near the way these students are reporting. Are there schools that treat their students like **** or are these stories exaggerated or made up?
One of my co-workers went through something similar in an LPN-RN program. That's what happens when your state only has 1 LPN-RN program.

Oh, good. I'm glad it's all a fake. I was really worrying about this person.
