Lucky, I have lecture tonight and then two more finals (one monday and one tues). I will be finished with pre-req's too and it is the best feeling ever!! Congratulations!! Have a great summer and let us know when you get in. I will be patiently waiting until Aug. 28 for my first official nursing class.

Congratulations! I only have 4 classes left before I can say the same. I have wondered exactly what I will do with all that free time. Cleaning is probably a good idea.

Yay!! DesertRain, take a well deserved break. I have my fingers crossed for you in July. I have one last final 5/22/07 and then I have a break until September. Yeah!!! Then I start Nursing School. I am so excited. My house looks like it was hit by a bomb. So it may take me the whole summer to clean it up. Best wishes, Jean

I'm with you on the house looking like a bomb hit it, Jean!!! My goodness, the laundry is piled up to the ceiling and I don't really know what my laundry looks like anymore!!! :roll

My last final was this morning, so I too am free until NS starts August 20th. I was registered to take 4 classes this summer towards my BSN, but I thought, I AIN'T gonna do anything else before nursing school, except lay by the pool!! I took 4 classes last summer and my kids suffered, so I am devoting myself to them! Good luck all~

Laura, I was going to take 4 classes towards my BSN this summer too! Haha what a coincidence. But then I realized, I need a break, I can't imagine trecking through the summer and I need to just relax before it gets really intense. I just started my mountain of laundry too.

Thanks Jean, I appreciate the fingers and I hope you guys all kick butt on your finals, finish strong, have a good rest and kick butt again when NS school starts!

Are we crazy or what?!? :chuckle After last summer, you would have thought that I learned my lesson, but since I started school late in life, I guess I am trying to make up for lost time!! I'm afraid that I am not going to know what to do this summer not taking classes, but I figured that everyone was right. Take the summer to relax and take a break, because when NS starts up, you will regret not resting!!! Not that a mountain of laundry is relaxing!!! Especially when you have 4 kids and just as soon as you get the last load finished, there suddenly appears 10 more loads!! :angryfire :roll :angryfire

Congrats, that's awesome! I'm in the same boat, except I still have one exam left to take next week. Then I'm done and I will apply next week for the fall program. My house is a wreck as well, and I would love to take the summer off, but I decided to take pharmacology. Hopefully with just one class I will have time to clean my house and spend some time with my kids over the summer.

Congrats! Me too. I am taking med dosage calc over the summer and then I begin NS in Aug! Finally!

It's nice to know that most of have a messy house! I just can't keep up with 2 kids! I can't imagine what my house will look like when I start!

I just wanted to say today was my last final (communications class) and my A&P II and Medical Terminology final were on Tuesday. And with that....I am done done done. YIPPEE! All my prereqs are completed. So after all that excitement....I still have to wait until July to find out if I am accepted for Fall. What will I ever do with myself until then? I can't even browse the school catalog to see what classes I will take in Fall because if I get in they will be nursing classes and I don't want to register for classes in case I don't get in because I have no idea what I will take, or what my plan of action will be. LOL. Maybe now's the time to finally clean my house?

Wooohooo, me too....off to Florida to my son's wedding next weekend :balloons:

It's nice to know there are other workaholics out like me. I am actually fighting the urge to go back to school during the spring/summer semester to work on the bachelor classes. I too have finished all the prereques and am waiting to receive my letter to start nursing school. I took 5 classes last semester; A&P II (lab & lec), Medical Terminology, Lifespan Dev., Phlebotomy, and Basic Healthcare Assesment. I received all A's.

Problem is I am so bored, been trying to clean a room a day. I just hate housework although it needs to be done! I too have a pool, can't wait till it opens up! Kids will be out of school soon so I am sure they will keep me busy!
