If tomorrow you had to leave nursing what career would you got to?And do you think your prepared for it and do you think you would be happy doing it?
Let's see, if my hubby wins the lottery, I'd quit and probly stop working altogether. I take that back, I'd be a professional traveler.
Otherwise, I could become a professional student, go back to hairstyling (yes, I have a cosmetology license), or be a veterinary nurse! (just kidding about the vet nurse)

Couldn't leave nursing, I,m doing what I want to do!! However, if ther was a gun put to my head......... I would love to have a catering business. I love to cook!! I cook and bake now every chance I get. Or maybe have a craft shop. I would also sell antiques there. Have you noticed how many of us, if we weren't nurses want to care for animals? There is no escape!! We just want to make it all better!

Hoolahan, can't you tell them you want to be a medical librarian?
Catlady, I am totally with you! If I was told that I absolutely positively could not become a nurse, I would open up a petstore, just for cats with a vet on site. I would also never turn away a cat and try to find it a good home.

I would be an artist. I loved the art classes I took in college, especially the ceramics and drawing. I'd love to make jewelry too.
My second choice would be doing something with dogs... I don't think I'd want to be a vet but would love to train dogs for being therapy dogs, rescue dogs, K9 Corps dogs, etc. Do you think I love dogs? LOL
I like this thread. I also like the fact that it's made me actually think I could spend some time working with art and dogs as a hobby. Thank God for hobbies!!!
