I have to wait until the end of MAY!

i called my school yesterday, and was informed that i wouldn't receive an acceptance letter until the end of may. i am slowly sinking into a dark hole. i feel like i need to know now in order for my life to progress at a "normal" rate. i have been looking into other degree programs and am not interested in anything else! i guess i have to wait for another antagonizing month to be over with.

the program i applied to also doesn't send out notices until the end of may....you are not alone

I'm in the same boat. It totally sucks. But let's hope we all hear good news next month.

And to make matters worse, they won't figure in my last two prerequisite grades ( I am making A's and finals are early May)which I am currently working on Meaning I am still 6 credit hours short and may not get in until the next time (Spring admission)

I will be 48 this October....I am running out of time

Right there with you. We don't get our letters here until June. ANd I've got to get my CPR certificatoin and health forms in by the first day of class in August. NOt a whole lot of time for that.

We have to wait until July to find out if we have been accepted into this fall's class. Trade you places.

I am on a waiting list, so I might not find out if I got in for Fall 07 until the end of August (before classes start). It feels like my life is on hold until I find out. Good luck to everyone that is waiting!

My school tells me the same story...I have to hold my breath until the end of May...

I know that it is hard to wait- and it often enough feels like your whole world and future are on hold!!! Honestly the best thing to do is relax and keep your head up! Easier said than done, I know, but no matter what remember why you wanted to become a nurse and keep your goal in focus!You CAN and WILL make it! Good Luck and Best Wishes!!!

I applied to 3 programs in February and won't hear anything until the middle of June. They admit via lottery and this is my third time applying to one of the programs and the second for another. The third just started taking applications, so it's my first for them.

I'm also on the waiting list for 2 other schools, but likely won't hear from them for a while, either.

I greet the poor mailman at the door every day praying for a letter...
