LOL!! I absolutly love your list.

I have come to the conclusion that I will be useless this week. First waiting for the letter and next hopefully celebrating the next couple of days or possibly crying my eyes out.

Thanks Deb! I'm trying to also focus on studying, but the partial pressures of carbon dioxide are just not as fun as "mailman watch 2009!". LOL.

Looks like we are studying for the same exam right now! This weather is just making me doze off everytime I try to read about partial pressures!

That's right CorazonDeOro! We are on the same A&P Schedule LOL!. Hey, good luck to you on Tuesday! My thoughts are this Unit was easier than the last ones, yet, I find it harder to stay focused and remember things right now. LOL. The rain is definatly not helping, but having another 70 degree beautiful day like Saturday would be even worse! LOL. Do you find that this class is getting a bit easier? I'm hoping next Unit is even easier! That would be a nice little break for us, eh?

For some reason this unit is the worst one for me! I don't know why, I just cannot get into the respiratory system! I think the next unit will be much easier. 4 more weeks!!!!

Does anyone know if what ranking entails? Apparently they already figured out our GPA's and HESI's, and I'm sure a few people had their's fixed, so do they just add the fixes back into the spot? I hope it goes quicker than the last letter. I know they said they'd start ranking on the 20th, but any thoughts on how long that process takes. I keep thinking about Spongebob singing "I'm ready! I'm ready!" So am I!!!

I would imagine it is computerized. Once they have the scores figured out I assume they just let the computer figure out the rest. I hope anyway.

All I know is when I called the enrollment office and spoke with the person who had given me info before, said we should know something (i.e. the acceptance letters) by April 24th. She didn't say that day, but it was the day that the $100 is due if I want to pursue PTA or OTA at Macomb. I told her I wanted Nursing above and beyond both of those programs, and asked if I would know by the 24th and she said "Yes". Actually, she was almost hinting that I would know sooner than Friday...

Now whether that is in fact the case, I don't know. But it was the info I've been given. I can't imagine they don't have us ranked with adjustments already. I'm thinking from the HESI/GPA calulations they narrowed down the "field". So in my "perfect world"... they made any adjustments and drafted the letters today, will put the letters in the mail on Tuesday and we will have them on Wedesday! LOL. That is in my world of course.

Also, I tried to be all James Bond... thinking maybe WebAdvisor would have some info. But it didn't *humph*

CorazonDeOrO... I think we just might be getting the itch to be done with this already! Last Unit was a brain blocker for me, for some reasons... You'll do excellent! We've got 24 hours right? LOL.

I'm betting on Thursday just because that is the day I have school and of course it will get here before I leave so I will do bad on my quiz. The GPA/HESI letters came while I was in class (first day) because the mail was late. Hubby was on his way out the door for work and he was going to call or text me what it said but did not have time. I told him DO NOT call to tell me what the acceptance/denial letter says, I'll find out when I get home. Last thing I need is to be sitting in a competitors classroom and start to cry.

I keep hoping that 60% of the applicants have felonies so I have a chance but somehow I do not think I will get that lucky....lol.

I am going with Friday or Sat. because last year they got their letters on Sat. the 19th and they were ranking on Mon. the 14th. I really would love if they came sooner but the way everything has been going I really don't think it will happen. They have been even slower this year then last. Best of luck to all of you and I hope the letter brings us good news!!!
