This is getting crazy... I just want to know... something! LOL. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the GPA/HESI confirmation letter by Friday. They better start with the END of the alphabet this time. :chuckle As my extreme back up plans, I applied for PTA, OTA at MCC... heard nothing from them either. I would have figured I would have seen something by now at least for those programs that have the least applicants.

The auditor/business consultant in me wants to go down there and see how I can help streamline their process! :chuckle I think they will assume alterior motives! :coollook:

Any news yet on letters? My mail hasn't come yet :(

Nothing here either, but if they sent them out today perhaps were overshooting thinking they will come the same day:chuckle Maybe tomorrow:rolleyes:

I hope they come soon since they usually wait one week for people to complain about what they got. Then, they have to review/fix them, then re-rank people if needed, and Good Friday is coming up and they may also close a couple more days.

I think typing this is frying my nerves further.....lol.

Shannon, you're making it sound like we won't get our letters until May or June!!! Hopefully tomorrow we'll see something. It's getting near the deadline for acceptance letters, so *hopefully* we will have the GPA letters this week. At least then we'll know that they're actually working on them. I'm in the middle, K, so I'll side with both Michy and Toxic :)

It "feels" like they are taking forever! LOL. I am going to the Learning Center in a little bit and then to class. I'm thinking I should drop off one of those "Fruit basket" things to the admissions office? LOL. Tell them it's from their friends on allnurses... waiting for MCC Nursing Letters.....

LOL... Toxic... you beginning alphabet people always want to be "first". LOL LOL LOL LOL.

So, I'll have to wait to get my mail today until 10pm! Grrr! Perhaps it is a bit premature for us to want the letters the same day they mail them out. LOL. Heck, all they have to do is call me and I'll go PICK UP the letter to save them postage! I'm nice like that *wink, wink*

You should ask your hubby to call you if the letter comes and read it to you! Well, that could be good or bad depending. I'd hate for you to be upset all day at school if things don't work out. Likewise I wouldn't want you to be so super excited that you don't pay attention in class!

And the beginning of the alphabet? That's just how we do ;)

Michy, I'll toss in $5 for the fruit basket. But then they'd probably be so happy snacking on fresh fruit that they won't realize that they have to send us our letters.

I am so frustrated! I just called Macomb to get a general idea as to when we would see our acceptance/denial letters. The person that I spoke with from selective admissions said that we shouldnt expect them until mid to late April! She also said that they do not even have a list completed of the people who will be accepted and will need letters. I also asked about a GPA/Hesi confirmation letter and she didnt have any idea what I was talking about.

I guess it is my own fault for anticipating the letter so early!

I went to MCC today, and I channeled me some Tom Cruise à la Mission Impossible in order to gather this important information:

- leea78 is correct: They are NOT finished with ranking yet; we can expect letters to arrive mid to late April.

- We WILL be receiving letters that confirm our GPA/HESI scores. When those will be mailed is unknown.

- In order to determine GPAs (especially from transfer students), they must be ranked by hand which is a very time-consuming process (duh.) Supposedly there are over 2,000 applicants (which I think is b.s., but whatever. Maybe I misunderstood what she meant; she acted like I was asking for the combination to Fort Knox or something.)

This information I got directly from the enrollment office. The lady I spoke to got HER information directly from someone who was in the process of ranking. So if her info can't be trusted, I don't know who's can.

I have nothing else to say, other than this: :banghead:
