I havent posted here in awhile but I am always reading other posts.
Well, today was the big I took my NCLEX exam. My computer shut off at 75 questions, beleive me I didnt want it too. I had lots of infection control, priority and teaching questions, 3 SATA and 1 math question. I believe I had about 7 Pharm questions. I dont know if I passed or failed.... I do know the last question was a priority/assignment question concerning a LPN, I feel I got that right. I have read that if you get pharm questions, those are the lower level questions, is that true? I have never been this nervous before in my entire life.. I felt like every time I got a priority question it would give me a teaching question or the patient understands if....... Does that mean anything!!! Someone please shed some light on me.
To fail at 75 questions, would mean you would of missed many many questions right?
I know waiting game is the hardest, and I'm hoping our comforting words could ease your uncertainties. :) The exam is over and you've done your best. Pray and lift this burden to God. It's all in His hands now. God bless! :typing
I just wanted to say thank you guys for your support:). I got my results yesterday and I PASSED!!!! This is a great feeling knowing I dont have to study for another test.

Took Nclex today. 1st time I took it got 265 ques and failed. I have been reviewing the Kaplan online course material which I have done fairly well on but today I got 75 ques. on the nclex. Not feeling confident at all. I keep asking myself how could I go from 265 to 75? Any support out there?
I took mine 3/5 and had 75 ?s ... strangest test ...easy -then hard -then i dont even know what happened.. one math, three SATA, meds, priority, infection etc....when the screen went blank at 75 i just put my head in my hands .. i took mine in cali so i have to wait ... i guess we'll just see what happens :) much luck to all who are "waiting"...
i woke up this morning to a dream that i had passed and i was telling all my friends and family and i was so purely excited ...which i have not allowed myself to feel for fear that i did not pass... when i woke up and realized it was a dream i just believed that i really did pass and i logged on to the CA BRN. Usually there are only two last names like mine but now there were three.....what do you know ...there was my name.. MY NAME, with a real license number and the two little letters after it "RN" i can not believe it. It was my second try. My first I got 265 and this time 75..... and I DID IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so hang in there all those that are still waiting for results.....it took five days to get mine ...75 may be a good thing 2nd time around :) i am still in shock ::)))))
took my nclex last monday...been panicky since then...i was really bad at it.i dont feel good about it....i know i got some questions right but i also got a lot of questions-easy questions at that-- wrong.i know a lot of those people who passed felt the same way but me i think i really really failed big time at 75.
i wasnt a bad student when i was in the nursing school...failing this exam would be really awful...
a day after my exam,i stubbornly called Ca BON to check if they have my ssn.turned it they dont have it.i just sent them my social security card yesterday.so i guess i wont be able to see my name on their website even if i pass...
have to wait for the snail mail i guess...im still hoping.if i dont pass..i dont know what to do next....such a pity.i wanted to pass so bad...
I just wanted to say; from what you describe it sounds almost idenctical to my NCLEX exam......shut off at 75......and I passed! I know we seem to dwell on what we feel we don't know rather than give ourselves credit for what we do know. GOOD luck!
congrats to you....what questions did you get? ianswered some easy questions wrong... until now,i still dont see my name in their website....i feel soo soo depressed...

Thanks for all the support. I got my results today. I PASSED! I am now an RN!! I am so glad that is over.
