Nursing Students NCLEX
Published Mar 11, 2015
I just took my Nclex rn and it was a monster of a test. Used Kaplan & Saunders to prepare but apparently I wasn't prepared enough. I'm super bummed now. Any repeat test takers have any advice?

I think I failed. I took the NCLEX yesterday on 1/14/2016. I felt so awful during the test. I had studied pathophysiology and med surge from Hurst Review. I studied everything on that review. That test was NOTHING like anything I had ever seen. It shut off at 76. I was stunned. I am sure I failed. There is no way I could have felt that stupid during the exam and passed.

You're already counting yourself out before the results are in! I've always thought positive thoughts bring on postive out come. If you studied like you say.....let things play out. If you've been on yhis site awhile you've probably read that the worst you felt coming out the better the outcome! Keep the faith and try to stay positive!
Yall kills me......the doubt and negative vibes are what helps open the doors to failure!

I think people really exaggerate too much and deceive others to increase their anxiety so that if you write and come out being confident means you failed already. There ll never be a stupid person who ll pass this exams and there's no guessing that can pass anybody in Nclex then is not a real professional exams, please let's decerease the exaggeration to make others feel better. I lady told me she has failed and there's noth g that ll make her pass so she's begi to study when she new within her that most of the question s she was able to answer right. It pissed me off when she passed and now started telling me the questions she got and was sure of their answers. She told me almost all her exams was SATA so she know she ll fail. Pls less be factual no dump person ll pass this exam and no guessing works either

I wrote the NCLEX RN this December. Had only about 8 SATA, no calculations, 1 or 2 med questions, mostly infection control and priority. The test shut off at 76 questions and I was certain that I failed. The whole test was a blur, I could only remember a handful of questions and was pretty sure I had gotten them all wrong. I told my family and friends that I had failed, and was already making plans for studying for the retest. Anyway, I just got the word yesterday that I passed!!!! I couldn't believe it. So to all of you who are waiting for your results, don't lose hope. I think most people who write the NCLEX feel like they failed.
