  1. Great advice. Thank you!
  2. You can help your friend, but your friend needs to find her/his way of learning. Although we are in it together, it comes down to individual... I would do a lot of NCLEX style questions to develop test taking sills.
  3. Stick with my own learning style. I always knew I cannot study with others, so I declined all the study group offers. Read the textbook and underlined before the seminars. Before the exam, I made notes based on what I underlined. So I ended up reading the textbook twice before the test.
  4. I wouldn't do it. I went to community college, paid about $2000 which will get me RN license. Paying roughly $12,000 for RN-BSN while working plus hospitals may reimburse some of the tuition.
  5. I had the Littman Classic II for nursing school. It worked fine for me. I would stick with what you have now.
  6. Everyone I have talked to came out feeling that they failed yet they passed.
  7. Congratulations! And thank you for sharing your experience!! I am waiting for my ATT and would like to take NCLEX asap. I was trying to decide which review or program I should use, and I was leaning toward uworld. I am planning to do 100-150 questions a day...
  8. Congratulations!
  9. My school told me not to try the trick because of that risks.
  10. I am in socal. I was told by a few hospitals that I shouldn't be applying for jobs until I actually have a license. HR persons told me that they don't invite people without license to interviews...
  11. I was debating which one I should pay for. Thank you all for your feedback. I am leaning toward using uworld.
  12. Congratulation for those who got accepted! I have a brand new uniform (still with tags and in the bag) for sell if you want to save some $$. The size is female XS. They run big (I'm 5'6, 125lb). I think you get to try different sizes on the intake day. Let me know if you are interested:) I graduated in June. I bought 2 sets of uniforms at the beginning of the program but ended up using only one set.
