How can I help my friend do better on exams? Please read description.
You can help your friend, but your friend needs to find her/his way of learning. Although we are in it together, it comes down to individual... I would do a lot of NCLEX style questions to develop test taking sills.

What ACTUALLY works in nursing school
Stick with my own learning style. I always knew I cannot study with others, so I declined all the study group offers. Read the textbook and underlined before the seminars. Before the exam, I made notes based on what I underlined. So I ended up reading the textbook twice before the test.

Is 90k in loans worth my BSN?
I wouldn't do it. I went to community college, paid about $2000 which will get me RN license. Paying roughly $12,000 for RN-BSN while working plus hospitals may reimburse some of the tuition.

Is learning on a cheap stethoscope better?
I had the Littman Classic II for nursing school. It worked fine for me. I would stick with what you have now.

I think I failed Nclex in 75 questions
Everyone I have talked to came out feeling that they failed yet they passed.

Timeline for graduation, NCLEX, and 1st RN Job
I am in socal. I was told by a few hospitals that I shouldn't be applying for jobs until I actually have a license. HR persons told me that they don't invite people without license to interviews...

Has anyone used UWorld to study for NCLEX?
I was debating which one I should pay for. Thank you all for your feedback. I am leaning toward using uworld.

RCC Nursing Fall 2016 possible applicants
Congratulation for those who got accepted! I have a brand new uniform (still with tags and in the bag) for sell if you want to save some $$. The size is female XS. They run big (I'm 5'6, 125lb). I think you get to try different sizes on the intake day. Let me know if you are interested:) I graduated in June. I bought 2 sets of uniforms at the beginning of the program but ended up using only one set.
