  1. I wrote the NCLEX RN this December. Had only about 8 SATA, no calculations, 1 or 2 med questions, mostly infection control and priority. The test shut off at 76 questions and I was certain that I failed. The whole test was a blur, I could only remember a handful of questions and was pretty sure I had gotten them all wrong. I told my family and friends that I had failed, and was already making plans for studying for the retest. Anyway, I just got the word yesterday that I passed!!!! I couldn't believe it. So to all of you who are waiting for your results, don't lose hope. I think most people who write the NCLEX feel like they failed.
  2. Hey sw87, if you go to the Edmonton transit web page there is a trip planner option. You enter the address of your start point and end point and it will give you transit options with travel times.
  3. Thanks janfrn, I appreciate the info!
  4. Thanks janfrn! Are they ok areas to live in? Not too run down or crime ridden?
  5. Hi eatyurmakeup, I am looking at a couple of apartments in the Calder area (127 st Nw) and the Elmwood Park area (82 st). Any opinions on theses 2 areas, I don't mind a bit of a commute to school as long as I don't have to transfer buses too many times. Thanks!
  6. Thanks for the advice! I'm sure I will have lot's of questions for you as the fall approaches.
  7. Thanks! :) I am from out of town (BC). I have heard that the rental market is really tight in Edmonton and from what I've seen apartments are fairly expensive. It might be nice if a few of us could get together and rent a place, save some money.
  8. Hi all, I just received my acceptance notice for U of A AD nursing! Very excited, trying to figure out my class schedule now.
  9. I sent my final transcripts almost two months ago and my application has been complete for weeks but my status still says decision pending on beartracks. I thought maybe they would wait until all applications are in before making final decisions (for those who don't qualify for early admissions)?
  10. Hi all, I am interested in the DNP and CRNA degrees and would love some feedback as to which one you all think provides the best job opportunities. Also, is there any benefit to having both degrees? Thanks
  11. Hi all! I have an application in to U of A AD program. Just wondering for those who have been accepted how long did it take before you found out?
