Yesterday morning started out with :
febrile, obviously ill kindy kid right off the bus.
The day went downhill from there. I had a few more fevers, diarrhea, puking, and one of the worst lice cases I've seen. These are HYBRID Lice. MUTANT NINJA LICE.
The kid was plucking the lice off his head and putting them on the shared desks. He brushed his hair and lice were dropping out! WTH??? Lice luurrvvve to stay on a warm, yummy scalp. Who do these lice think they are messing with?
Now, the kids in that class have tuned it into a lice game. Lord help me....
I saw all real issues yesterday. No shenanigans. I think that's a first!
I love "Love After Lockup" - that and "90 Day Fiance" are my favourite dumpster fires!
ohh - 90 Day Fiance - such a trainwreck that I can't stop watching. My husband hates Sunday nights when I am watching it. Steven & Olga - Kalani & Ansuelo - I just want to reach thru the TV and shake some sense into them - LOL. Pathetic that I actually know these characters names :)

I love you, Adobe!
My husband watches it with me - yes, our lives are this bad.
Not only do I watch these shows, I read some of the online gossip - did you know Coltee cheated on Larissa? Apparently sent d-pics to other women ( need a vomiting emoji).
How will they ever die??? Is it true you can't send notes home to warn others because of HIPPA? If so, isn't there a way to send a blanket note without pinpointing anyone. Otherwise, won't there be like an epidemic? Do the teachers and employees have to use Nix as a regular shampoo? I do feel for y'all. I'm itching just reading about them, even if they can't jump, supposedly they're really contagious, right?

Head lice are an annoyance at most. They are only shared by PROLONGED head to head contact. Head lice have not and never will be an epidemic, especially because they do not transmit diseases. They easily "cured" with proper combing using a nit comb. They die quickly when they are off of the scalp and are generally not viable long enough to be spread by objects like stuffed animals, chairs, ect.

Love it! Thank you.
Here's my response to my supervisor (medical).
Thanks you, however (insert long sigh, lol) I know all of this and have done my best to communicate same to students and staff.
At this point we may need prn xanax orders for all staff. Just for the next 2 days. That's reasonable right?
Ok seriously, we are xxxxx and hoping with all of our Grinchy hearts that these Mutant Ninja Lice do die over break. Then we must depend on PARENTS to take care of it at home so we don't ring in the New Year with Pediculosis Capitus holding us hostage.
I'm so desperate that I'm willing to do work on one of the worst cases. What are the chances I can get a nit comb for my office? If it's cheap enough I'll buy it but if any are available that would be great.
Thank you Norris--smooches!!! Happy Holidays
