I want to thank all my fellow nurses for all your help and encouragement. I"m on this site daily and this site has definitely been a blessing to me in more ways than one.
After taking the NCLEX five times, I finally passed!!!!!!!!!!!!! And PVT worked every time!!!! I was in disbelieve when I got the good pop-up. If anyone needs any help or encouragement please feel free to inbox me! When I studied for the NCLEX this time around I used a combination of hurst, kaplan, and saunders. I went through each system and did questions on the specific system. If your on facebook join the nurseproject group, it is awesome! There's also a study guide on there different from the one floating around on here that is extemely helpful (it's 95 pages!) and its in the files section. Best wishes to all those studying for the NCLEX. Remember to believe in yourself and trust in God no matter what. There is a season for everything and everything happens for a reason. Be encourage and NEVER give up!!

Congrats!! This is terrific news and you must feel so relieved and excited! I have all the resources you mentioned. Did you watch the HURST videos (each content area) and reference Saunders to fill in additional content? And take Kaplan Qtrainers and bank? I also have the Kaplan (course book and Strategies book). Let me know how you mixed the resources together. Sounds like it worked very well. Go celebrate! :)
PS. I take NCLEX 8/7. If you could provide advice on focus areas to study based on what you had on NCLEX (ie. systems/diseases/treatments/etc.) that would be helpful. How would you describe NCLEX q's - like Kaplan or? Tysm again!!

What is the 95 page study guide that everyone is talking about? I Know the one with 35 pages that was a pdf document and it was pretty good. If anyone can pm me I would be happy. [email protected]

It costs about $50. If you google pass NCLEX 2013 study guide you should be able to find it. Just like any other study material it's usefulness is individualized.

I am so happy for you! I have two unsuccessful attempts behind me and am scheduled to take it again for the 3rd time on Aug. 20th. My last attempt was June 24th. If you could offer any advice or anything at all that might help me pass this time I would be very grateful. I cannot financially afford to retest after this time and I am too old to put it off to do later (age 57) so I am feeling a lot of pressure to pass this time. I used the Hurst program last time. It is a great program but I feel I did need a little bit more than it covered since it's been a year since I graduated. Again, congrats on becoming a RN. I hope you land the perfect job soon. If you have any advice or information to offer me please send to doodle.rn@gmail.com
Thank you!
Thank you everyone!!!!!
