Thank you ladies for your criticism. My assignment is now complete. Even though no one answered any of the questions, I still interviewed all those who answered. These are the responses I found on social media in a so called all nurse social platform.

What do you mean by this? That the responses hear are valid, and you will not be inquiring any further? From an instructor point of view, I would knock a ton of points off for this, as the point of the assignment was missed completely. If any one of us knew you in real life and you asked to interview any one of us, we would answer, gladly, I'm sure of it.

It seems as though the first person who responds to a form, sets the tone of how the subsequent people will respond. If the first person that responded to my questions, actually answered those questions, I belive this form would have turned out quite differently.

Aú contrere, my dear. In fact, these interview threads have been popping up a lot lately. One this morning, the first responder answered, and everyone after responded similarly to how they have here.

I know it seems like the best and easiest way to find answers you are looking for here, but truly, these answers aren't legit. You don't know if I'm a 16 year old high school sophomore in my parents' basement, a 78 year old sex offender with a thing for nurses, or, a 34 year old nurse in critical care. You don't know. And even if I give you all of my life details, I could really be telling you the details of my uncle, or granddaughter. Don't you want legitimacy?

Btw, the spelling of your name is unique, and after a quick Google search, all of your information is available at the top of search results. You should seriously consider changing your screenname.

OP must be a behavioral psych or a "gotcha journalist" student ... posing a phoney question designed to elicit a particular behavior for purposes that were concealed from the interviewee. Kinda reminds me of Milgrim's experiments.

Although the arch tone of OPs last post suggests a more personal agenda, in my view.

Your comment here made me google. She's legit. Last semester in a BSN program, looks like.

Can someone tell me what this yellow side blue side business is? I only have green.

when I'm on my laptop, I haven't noticed any different sides either...I can't the interweb!!!

The "yellow" side refers to allnurses, so named because of the yellow banner across the top of the page. The "blue" side refers to the allnurses break room, which is another part of allnurses where nursing related topics aren't required. To get to the break room, there are links in the drop down menu that appears when clicking your user name, at the bottom of the page in the grey area, or by typing www. allnurses-breakroom .com into the browser's address bar. Take the spaces out of the url; it autocorrects to the title of the page if I don't put them in.

If you were to google me, you'd find other people with the same name for the most part, even if you stick my state in there. The only thing that rats me out is LinkedIn. I hate that about LinkedIn and have been considering deleting my account with them as a result.

And based on Google, you might decide I'm a singer or a murderer. lol

Apparently I have an arrest record for child molestation in Maine. And I'm a guy. Or so I was told by my daughter's Little League "team mom" who did a background search on me based only on my name, in spite of the fact that I did not give her permission and I specifically told her I did NOT want to volunteer with the team.

Thank you, Rose_Queen!

Ew that's creepy! Why would she be doing that?! I admit I'll occasionally Google screen names to see if people are legit. I've looked up myself and my husband, but I think that's actually good policy to know how much info a person will find on you online. (He's in law enforcement - can't be too careful!) But I couldn't imagine digging on another parent in my kids' lives. That's so invasive and rude.

Dang! I didn't get to be so called interviewed in this "age of technology" by the so called student nurse and give my phony answers based on my 30 years truck driving experience (not that there is anything wrong with that) because this interview does not have to merit credibility.

I also feel I missed a real good flounce.

Goodbye.

Seems simple enough when you explain it like that but it (the blue side) won't accept my password nor let me start a new account because my e-mail is already in use.

I agree w/others who are saying public health and hospice nurses are vastly different. And although there are a bazillion people these days who don't have manners any more (or in many cases, never did), try to remember them whether 'on task' or not.
