You just haven't found your study grove with it. For me, I cut it up in chunks. I ham horrible in spelling, So for me, I wasn't just learning Anatomy, I also had to learn to spell and remember how to spell it. The best way for me to learn is visual and writing the words. So I made lists. If I was studying skull bones, I would Would say it, and then state how many. Then I would start listing them and writing them. Knowing the number help with the list. As I said the bone, I would visualize where it was located and what is connected to it. I would do this over and over again. Doing it in small sections, it wasn't so overwhelming.
So with the systems how would I study those??

You need to figure out what works best for YOU. What worked well for me was note cards. I wrote a lot out on them, I'd draw the bones, slides, etc. Doing the drawings helped me to really pay attention to the details, which helped me learn them. This worked for me, but might not for others. I think that before you retake this course, it would be wise to try a few different things and see what works. Nursing school is pretty turbo, which is part of why these courses aren't a part of the program- people need to be able to determine if they can handle the rigors of nursing school.
There are several of us, myself included, that had to repeat prereqs. Before you do this, you need to diagnose what went wrong the first time, and figure out how you're going to overcome it. Otherwise, you're doomed to repeat the same mistakes.

What is the body system you are being retested on? Have you found a tutor?

Oh my, I absolutely LOVED these books. It made me feel like a little kid but I got to indulge in some inner-child fun as well as learn A&P. It is very thorough and goes pretty in-depth about most things.
