I have been lazy the whole month of December. I have LS2, LS3, and Transition. My goals was to finished LS2 & Transition by 12/31, and LS3 in January.
I have to get off my lard and get back to it. I was right behind Tasha, now she has left me in the wind!!!
I rescheduled LS3 to Monday I am using the videos but there was so much missing from the study guide in the videos so I pushed it off a few more days. I am recording my notes in audio then I will listen to those twice on sunday and once on Monday so it's all fresh when I test. I hope I do well. Saturday I'm planning for LS1, but I'm not sure if I can cram all the review in. I have previously tested on this and barely didn't pass by like 3% so I'm not thinking I have to start from scratch just do more review. Plus I was having issues that day. Pregnant and sick (didn't know I was pregnant yet).
What videos are you using? Was LS1 a good deal more difficult than the previous exams? I am almost finished with the cardio portion and have a pretty good grasp on that content, but it seems these LS exams are a bit different. I am now hoping to test LS1 by the last week of Jan.
they are referring to the rnbridgeprogram.com web. video, i also signed up for them... like they mentioned there's a lot of things missing... i feel there's not that much nursing interventions. it does motivates you though, my 6month old watch it with me for 20min. :) than start fussing....hey better than nothing. lol
I am in fact referring to the rnbridgeprogram.com. There was so much missing that I feel it was a waste of money. I now will be taking notes based on the study guide and then recording them with my iPhone using the evernote or audionote depending on if I have pictures or notes I want to sync to it. Evernote allows me to sync notes, audionotes does not. After those are all done I will replay the notes to myself twice a day. If you have an iphone or other smart phone with audio player I think I can send you the files if you would be interested, if you're interested let me know so I can figure out how to send them to you. I only have LS1-3 to do though so I won't be doing all of them just the courses I need. I am starting with LS3 and then doing the LS1 next week and LS2 the week after. I might do some for my CPNE review as well.
Having to postpone LS2 again. Yesterday, Mom had a TIA. Since she had a TIA and then massive stroke, which resulted in partial removal of her brain due to swelling almost 12 years ago, I did not know what would be the ending resulting. On yesterday morning when I went downstairs to check on her, she was talking gibberish. I knew that this was a sign of stroke.
She is doing better this morning. I am hoping to take LS2 on next Saturday, 1/29.

I would love to have audionotes on my iphone! I could listen to them when I work out, which would be killing two birds with one stone! I am downloading the free audio app now...exciting!!
Thanks for all of the well wishes for my mom and myself as well. She is going to have a TEE tomorrow to see if there are any blood clots in her heart. My mom is a strong lady but I know she gets tired at time, mentally. She survived and was able to gain almost all of fine motor skills 12 years ago when I was told if she survived, she would be in a vegetative state.
Thanks again. This is why I like Excelsior: the support from you, the ability to reschedule exams without having to beg an instructor, and the ability to take time off when needed; and I am in a state where it is not supported, GA.
