I want to be a LPN. I stink at math and not very good taking the entrance exam. How do I find information so I score high on the entrance test?

Ask the school if they have a study guide for the math placement test. Most do. Use khan academy (free online resource) to review areas you struggle with understanding.

You can find lots of refresher math resources on the internet and any retail bookstore should have a math review text.

You can do a google search to find resources for help with math. You tube has a ton of math videos.

Definitely ask the school for a study guide. I failed my math placement the first time I took it, got the study guide from the school, studied that night til my brain was full, and passed on my second try (the next day, something I wouldn't recommend, but it was my only option if I wanted to start school this semester).

If Hesi entrance definitely buy hesi entrance assessment book. Cheap off amazon and covers exactly what type of things you'll see on the real exam. Failed math first try got this book got 93% on math second try!

Most enra exams have a study guide with them; study the guide from grit to back; understand the WHY of the best answer, and utilize resources such as Khan Academy as mentioned as a supplemental resource in your studies.

I was able to obtain a practice entrance exam from my Lvn school.

I recall bringing the sample test packet to the park while watching my son and his cousin while studying. I worked out the problems in the packet, using google as a reference.

I scored very well on the entrance exam! You can do it!!
