I just ordered a Zuca bag for school

Thanks Jackie! You responded quick and answered my questions! I'm pretty sure this is what I'll need for school. I guess if all my books don't fit, I can always stack my regular bookbag on top or just put it on my back as well. I start in August, and am really nervous/excited to finally be a nursing student. :)

Me too! I start August 13th, and I'm soooo excited! My friend, who is a nurse, said "hold on to that excitement because it will fade quickly". Lol

I just bought one from craigslist and they are mailing it to me. Everytime I buy from craigslist, I cross my fingers that it won't be the scam sale. I'm excited!!! :yeah:

Okay, that has got to be the UGLIEST bag ever....lol.... and way too much money...

LOL I totally agree with you. When I opened the picture, the first word out of my mouth was, "UGH!" It does look roomy, however, I don't take my books to class and I study at home. I've used a shoulder bag for nursing school for a year now and it suits me just fine. I can fit at least one book in there, but I typically just study off of my notes. If I do travel with books, I just use a reusable shopping bag.

20 bucks walmart trendy roller bag, and an used iPhone would have been just fine, and carry less weight, have lab, diagnosis, tabers, drug books all on the iPhone, in my bag nothing more than the book for the day, powerpoint and some paper and some side room for mountain dew, it's all I needed anyways!

Me too! I'll warn you, the Zuca isn't as big as everyone is trying to make it out to be (rolling orificenal, not being able to fit in classrooms...baer). I don't have my nursing books yet, so let me know what you think when you get it and put your books in!

That is probably because it isn't something you see everyday. I had been shopping for a rolling bag for weeks, and when I first saw it, I thought it was refreshing to see something so different! I got it for quality, convenience, space, versatility (it's a seat, too) and style! I decided that I'm not even going to turn off the flashing lights function on the wheels! :lol2:

I am looking at getting a Zuca "business backpack"

It doesn't roll, but it looks like it does have a lot of space. With all the pockets and things, I think I wouldn't even need to carry a purse. However students who are in the program I'm about to start have suggested a rolling one, so I really don't know what I'm going to get yet.

Hey, I'm not sure how I missed your post. What did you decide to get? The Business backpack looks awesome, I love all the compartments. I hope it isn't too heavy though. It just depends on what your specific likes and needs are. For me, I don't really care how many books I have to carry to class on a daily basis. I would have bought the Zuca for traveling, or just normal college classes. I used it this week to carry in a bunch of pictures, and some stuff I had to bring to a funeral. It's 100 degrees where I live. Going back to your car for anything just isn't a good option.

Opps, my bad. I was soliciting! As for the color....I think it's cute. But the brown one makes two for me...LOL! Ask and you shall receive. I said I wanted one and found two. LOL!
