this radio dj "reviews" his hospital stay. he feels he would be in "better hands if i had nurses that were sexy". grrr!! tired of men thinking nurses are pin-up girls in stiletto heels wearing white miniskirts! what a jerk!
hey whats up? big boy here. as a lot of people may have noticed i have not been on the radio much the past couple of days. that is because i have been in the hospital. since i have not been able to share some of my experiences on-air i thought i would do it right here online.
first of all i am in here because i have a skin infection called cellulitis. it is on my right leg and it really sucks. it has been very painful but thank god for pain meds. when you really need them they are truly a blessing. as far as the rest of my experience, i guess it has been okay other than a few major flaws. first off i know no one likes to be in the hospital (other than my dad). one thing that is truly messed up in the health system is in order to be admitted to the hospital you have to go through e.r. now just to walk through the door of the e.r your looking at about a $2,000 charge at least so if you do not have insurance or you are poor you’re screwed. i feel like that is wrong and should be stopped but you know how that goes doctors and politicians walk hand in hand.
my next biggest complaint is by far the food. the nearly 8 grand price tag it cost to be admitted to the hospital should totally include some 5 star food like steak and lobster. i realize it is not a resort but i do think part of the getting well process should be great comfort food. my next thing was the room accommodations, with it being a hospital it obviously gets a great vote for being clean but the beds are basically cheap foam and cotton covered in water proof plastic. i swear my bed could be used as a flotation device. i have greatly enjoyed all of the buttons my bed has to offer as i treated it like a theme park ride all weekend. it has kept me amused. however i have to be in this bed pretty much at all times. my back and my butt are killing me. they need some nice pillow top mattresses so people can sleep well.
my last thing is maybe the least important but it would be a nice change in community hospitals. i know there are a lot i repeat a lot of sexy nurses here in the tri-state. during my stay i had none. i had a few that were as evil as they were ugly. one lady was like 70 and she seemed as if she had just had a stroke. there was even one bigger than me with very hairy man arms as well as a few that were very nice and helpful. i just feel that i would feel in much better hands if i had nurses that were sexy. i would want them stabbing me with needles, checking my vitals and doing to me what ever the doc ordered. any chance to get them to touch me would be amazing. well that is my hospital experience and what i feel that it should be. please leave me your feed back below
well i hope he gets a super sexy, super stupid, super uneducated, super inexperienced nurse on his next stay at the hospital. maybe after having bruises all over from poor IV placement and bed sores from lack of attention to skin condition and positioning and side effects from poorly administered drugs, he'll really appreciate nurses that don't look perfect while they work their 12+ hour shift.
**side note, i am NOT saying that sexy nurses and very skilled competent nurses are mutually exclusive of one another :loveya:
I threw up in my mouth a little reading this. He is a lazy, moronic pig. He c/o of his back & butt hurting him from the bed. Too bad its "customer service central" and no nurse or doctor is allowed to give him the grocery list of what he really needs to do like lose weight, ambulate more then once a year and the back & butt pain will magically go away. I feel bad for his nurses hopefully no nurse had to have him on their assignment for more then a single shift. The poor nurse that he made fun of for looking like she had a stroke, she probably did from years of having to lift people his size who make no attempt to roll over or do anything for themselves. Notice how he thought it was amusing to push all the buttons, jerk probably rode the call light all night for BS things. Its high maintence whiners like him that suck up all the time on a shift while some patient who is suffering for real is put on the back burner. He is the eptiome of everything negative we nurses have to deal with in this field. Best damn day of thoses nurses lives were probably when they saw the order to d/c him home. Its people like him that make me DESPISE becoming a nurse.
What an idiot, not surprising when you look at his job he was a dj. If he expects nurses to be his "fantasy girl" what can we expect from a dj shock jock. Not much, our expectations are more in line, we expect very little from people who make a living belittling and attacking many in society, the bar is so low they deliver what we expect. What is confusing is why he thinks a nurse would be interested in some looser with a skin issue...more delusion by someone who lives in a fantasy world of the lowest levels. To bad he got any press. Lets see, educated woman, responsible, hard working, compassionate, caring, with high pressure occupation which makes a difference in people's lives looking for loud mouth obnoxous male who makes a living insulting people, skin problems a plus.........lets all look for that in the personal ad's and on eharmony.
lol why is everyone so mad, I think its pretty funny come on am i the only sexy nurse on here who enjoys the fact im super smart and sexy and represent a real life fantasy? my husband had a real portrait pin up girl style of me in a sexy nurse costume tattooed on his leg he wears shirts that say i feel safe at night i sleep w a hot nurse, its a hot profession loosen up folks lol, just sayin........
like I said in my post, My posting was supposed to be humorous, I'm not mad. I could care less about this scum. I did have one patient who back in the day who grabbed me in an inappropriate way and I knocked his hand out of my shirt. Next day, he wasn't there and I asked about him. They told me he had blown an aneurysm during the night and died. Oh well, I have to say I gave him his last cheap thrill...LOL. I weighed 118 lbs and had a body that wouldn't quit. I am not a sexy nurse anymore. Not everyone who posts on here meets the stereotype of "sexy nurse". I would take care of him the same way as anyone else.
