I just had to share, I am so excited! I've worked so hard for this. It's been a personal goal and uphill battle.
There are so many posts from 30+ adults headed back to school, especially from those with kids, wondering if it can be done. I'd just like to share that I headed back at 32 and have 6 kids. It can be done, it is possible, you CAN do it.
Graduation is Thursday & I start my new job after the first of the year. But for tonight.......a well-earned
Very good:yeah:you have to be very good to make a 4.0 overall in nursing college. I work full time and have two children and have to study really hard to maintain a 4.0 in school. It has been a very tedious road. I have four more classes and I hope to keep it up if not then I will not be too stressed.
Thanks for all your kind words & congratulations.
My post was part brag , but mostly to offer up encouragement for others. There were many times I wanted to quit and I am sure that all of you can relate to that. I think we hear so many horror stories about NS that we get our feathers ruffled before we even start.
I just wanted people to know that it really isn't that bad. I still had a life, still had time for kids & hubby, my house was clean, and I still found time to study. It wasn't always a walk in the park but I'm still breathing, still married, & my kids still love me. Thats what I REALLY wanted all of you just starting out to know.
Good luck to all!
