I graduated from my CNA class this week and I take my state exam in a few weeks.
Do I need 6 months of experience to work in Peds? Do hospital hire CNA's in NICU?
Thanks in advance.

Congrats!!!:)Hospitals do hire CNA's in hospital NICU but with many years of experience(unless u have connections) b/c everyone wants NICU and Mother Baby. They usually hire CNA's in hospitals after a couple months or a year of experience.
Thanks everyone. Most hospitals want at least 6 months of experience to get a job at a hospital. I have a classmate who already works at a hospital and she's going help me get a job at the hospital.
I want to work in Peds because I love kids and I have experience with kids.
Do hospitals preferred CNA's or EMT's in Peds ER? My dream is to become a nurse and work in Peds.

Congratulations, it only goes up from here!
I would like advice from other CNA's and nurses. What does it take to be a great CNA? I want to be the best CNA I can possibly be.
