I got in!

Published

Hi... I don't really post on here a whole lot, but I just have to post this. I found out today that I got accepted to nursing school!! I am very excited, and it seems like a lot of people I know in real life don't really understand the process, how many pre-reqs you need, and how competitive these schools are. I know you all understand, so... one more time...

I GOT IN!!

Congratulations Bree!!! That is awesome!!!!

and thanks for the luck I know I could use it, I have a couple of months to wait it out (end of May) I'm sure i will go crazy before then

 Congrats!!! Remember the feeling you are having right now as you go through difficult times during nursing school. You have worked hard to get in, and now you must work hard to get through school...remember that it will all be worth it in the end! I am also waiting for letters...praying for thick envelopes!!! :bowingpur

Both of the schools that have accepted me so far have sent THIN envelopes! Regular old Number 10 business letter envelopes. LOL I was so disappointed opening them, and then I read, "Congratulations..." So even if a thin envelope appears in your mailbox, tear it open right away. :lol2:

congratulations!!!

OMG this is so absolutely positively true!!! I went through the same thing today, I got my letter and was fear struck by the fact it was a small and pretty thin envelope. I was with my boyfriend when I got the mail and I did not tell him that I received a letter from a school I applied to. I slide into a corner of my kitchen expecting to get denied and to my surprise I was accepted. The fact that they tricked me made the surprise even better. I started jumping up and down with joy which eventually led to hyperventilating and crying with extreme relief.

Always remember a book cannot be read by looking at the cover. This is even true of letters of acceptance into nursing school. To all of you holding onto a dream, I believe in you and you will get in. Much love to you.

Congratulations! After years of just trying to get an interview and finally getting that, I can truly empathize with how hard it is to get in and how competitive the schools are. You know the value of your journey and you know all you had to overcome to get where you are right now. Pat yourself on the back and know you are on your way.

Congrats!! :yeah:

I got mine yesterday too! And the funny thing is, a few days ago I got a letter from my school and I got DIZZY and was so scared to open it and it was about something else. I was all sorts of ticked off! lol

So when the mail came yesterday I see something from my school and I'm trying to tell myself well it may be something else AGAIN. I'm shaking anyway and I'm trying to open it while walking across the street, up the driveway, into the house and I could see through the envelope it says Admissions office and I'm like ugh it must be something else, it's not from the nursing dept. but I still have that little sliver of hope and then I open it and it says Congratulations we are pleased to inform you....

It was snowing really bad and so I had just thrown on my husbands knee high camo boots to get the mail and Im trying to run down to the basement to tell hubby and to jump up and down and I couln't really bend my legs...lmao!

The things we do....

:p

Congrats to you as well..... Its amazing the anxiety we feel waiting for one little piece of paper that may determines our whole FUTURE!lol.....YOU ROCK
