I haven't seen anyone start a thread about applying for this year's HRSA scholarships. I am waiting to see if I am accepted into a school in IL (fingers crossed!) and then I am going to start my application process for HRSA. The program I am applying to is a 16 months ABSN that starts in august! what about you all?
Have you been accepted some where yet? Still in the application process? Already started the Scholarship application?
The previous years received signatures from the secretary about 3-4 weeks after signing their contracts with no notifications. Just keep checking your contract for a signature in the secratary spot! Apparently, that's the "go" button for the contract to become in effect.

I doubt it. If you read the forum. It was touched on that a professor, has a few different students, who had 0 EFC, over 3.0 grade point averages and no defaulted loans but were denied. There will Be thousands of applicants with 0 EFC. Especially with the effects of COVID & what it did to a lot of people. Students in particular. People should start preparing for life without the scholarship. Many people struggle, many people have good grades, many people are religious and pray, many people do a lot of things, but try to reallocate your energy into stuff you can control. Whether your stress at levels above 1,000 or below 2, the outcome won’t be changed

I agree we all are praying, we all are worthy, we all for the most part have good grades, and we all have struggled due to the pandemic.

It used to say “finalist” now it says under review and it doesn’t show my contract anymore. It does show my submission for confirmation of interests docs. Also, At some point it also asked me to plug my info in for participant when I logged in but it says I already have an account. I’m sure I’m working myself up for no reason but I’m worried that it says under review now and not finalist
This message concerned me, so your status went backwards? Did you have a chance to call the HRSA line and inquire why your contract wasn't online anymore?
Hi everyone,
My name is Shadyra I was sent an email saying I was selected as a finalist last Monday on the 16th. Moreover, I submitted all the documents by Tuesday and my director of the nursing program was able to put the seal on the form. Also I started my nursing program in may if I was selected will I receive back pay funding? Im in a 12 month accelerated program from May 2021-May2022. I also requested the facebook group as well.
