HRSA 2021-2022

I haven't seen anyone start a thread about applying for this year's HRSA scholarships. I am waiting to see if I am accepted into a school in IL (fingers crossed!) and then I am going to start my application process for HRSA. The program I am applying to is a 16 months ABSN that starts in august! what about you all?

Have you been accepted some where yet? Still in the application process? Already started the Scholarship application?

I called about this and was told to just have them put “could not put seal on form due to completing it electronically.” Lady I spoke with said if they needed anything else they’d reach out directly but that should be fine for now!

Mine still says under review do you guys think that means I haven’t gotten it ?

My nursing department didn't have the seal either. I had to reach out to the registrar/student services and they let me pick it up in person. My nursing department is working remote but student services isn't so I would call and ask if your registrar is in a similar situation.

I'm not sure but I don't think you should count yourself out yet!

That’s what I’m thinking myself ?? I’m my own worst enemy when waiting… I read online that they don’t notify the non recipients till late October ?‍♀️ So I’ll just stress and over think till 9/30 ??

Don't count yourself out yet! The next round of people will occur after August 26th because I'm sure people will decline their offer and it will move down. The fiscal year ends September 30th so there's still time! It was honestly SO unexpected when I received my finalist email. I wasn't thinking about the scholarship at all so it might help if you just think good vibes/prayers and do other things to take your mind off of it! Something good will happen! If not, there is always next year to apply ?

Question for finalists:  have all of you received confirmation of intent emails like a previous poster? I didn’t receive one, but my portal shows my uploaded verification forms and the contract that I signed.

I am a finalist as of 8/10/21 and have not received a confirmation email that I am aware of but my contract is uploaded and forms reveived. For those that got the email, what is the subject line?

"FW: Nurse Corps Scholarship Program: COI" I got it about a day after the first email from noreplyHRSA. Weird that some people got both and other people didn't!

I wouldn’t worry as long as you got the finalist email, as you had to confirm your interest through that! ?

I got a finalist email 8/6. I  confirmed interest and submitted all documents prior to their deadline. It used to say “finalist” now it says under review and it doesn’t show my contract anymore. It does  show my submission for confirmation of interests docs. Also, At some point it also asked me to plug my info in for participant when I logged in but it says I already have an account. I’m sure I’m working myself up for no reason but I’m worried that it says under review now and not finalist

Did your contract ever get signed ? That’s scary , I got mine 08/06 as well. Mine still says in final review , no signature in my contract yet .
