HRSA 2021-2022

I haven't seen anyone start a thread about applying for this year's HRSA scholarships. I am waiting to see if I am accepted into a school in IL (fingers crossed!) and then I am going to start my application process for HRSA. The program I am applying to is a 16 months ABSN that starts in august! what about you all?

Have you been accepted some where yet? Still in the application process? Already started the Scholarship application?

The deadline was also extended last year. They do it pretty frequently. So out of about 1800-2000 applicants they accept 150-180 people.

I applied last year and got the scholarship but I had withdrawn from classes before I heard that I got it ? My school was super nice and accepted me into this year's cohort without me having to apply again. So I reapplied for the scholarship for the length of the entire program since I'll be starting it in August. Hope this helps!

Mines still says under review ?.. I start classes August 24th so .. I went ahead and accepted my loans to cover my stuff just in case

How many people on the forum have received a credit check from HRSA?

 The extension was two extra weeks so this week should be some type of notification?

The next set usually go out 2-4 weeks after the first round. If people don’t accept then they start offering to the next set of finalist.

Someone mentioned the credit che k took months to show up for them.

If I'm correct, only a couple people here have posted about a credit check. They also mentioned that they saw the credit check but haven't received an email yet.

Hi all, I’m new but have been stalking this page for a while.

Has anyone here on the forum received any finalist emails yet? I know they said they sent the first round out already, but I think it’s a little weird that no one here has mentioned receiving an email yet from what I’ve seen.

I could be wrong, but I understood that the 1st round went to those already in the program. I did not reread to confirm this info. So you might review the literature to confirm. Also I doubt if ours were reviewed within the same week as last years since our deadline was later. It is great they have started thought! Many prayers of being finalist fo each of us!!
