Hello all,

I'm starting this thread for the new applicants for the hrsa nursing scholarship 09-10. Tor prettylady, I think its a random selection. Its the luck of the draw.

I just dont understand why the reps dont all say the same thing. it is driving me crazy! i have been holding my breath about this scholarship for five months! I was so sure today would be the day i would finally find out. im ready to cry....

ok, so what im hearing(reading in the posts) is awards are coming by regular mail...so if that's the case, please reply when you receive one...i am dying here...good luck everyone again!!!

I just went back and read my email for being a finalist/alternate and it said selections would be made by September 30, not notifications...hate to be the bearer of bad news but we are gonna have to wait even longer it seems...:no:

either that or we all have really bad luck and none of us received it :( two different reps told me that i would be notified today by email if i am a recipient.... i dont understand why they would say something that is not true. its not right! well, i have to stop this obsession for tonight.. i have a research paper to write :p talk to you all tomorrow, lol.

I got one of finalist emails 2 weeks ago, but havn't heard anything else. I am hoping that they didn't notify anyone yet, cause I just can't believe that none of us got it!

I mean, statistically speaking, even if they only awarded a quarter of the 1st funding preferences, then there should have been about a quarter of the posters on this post who got it. I reeeeeally can't believe that none of us got it. Hang in there all of us, and I'm still keeping my fingers crossed!!!

I think this is BS, by the way...the fact that they are waiting so long to let us all know. Just not fair!

:cry:. I'm so tired. Check email 10 times a day. On this forum 20 times a day. Running to the mail box at 12 everyday. My heart goes out to us all. I know the true meaning of obsessed.

This really is an obsession! I cant even sleep good because im constantly thinking about an email to let me know if I've been accepted or denied! This wait is really ridiculous and so many of us are depending on this scholarship!!! I have a paper due tomorrow, yet my brain in focused on my email inbox...thinking maybe I'll get the email this late!!!
