Hello all,

I'm starting this thread for the new applicants for the hrsa nursing scholarship 09-10. Tor prettylady, I think its a random selection. Its the luck of the draw.

I received one of the finalist/alternate emails but haven't heard anything since, anyone get any news yet? Is it coming email or regular mail. Regular mail has come and I didn't get anything...maybe postmarked today??? GOOD LUCK everyone, I know we all need it equally!

I can still log in and the modify link is still active.... All the different info and guessing is the worst part!

Someone stated above that they were sending e-mails out! Surely one of us should have gotten one if that's the case. Can someone call and see if that's exactly true or if it could be via mail. because yesterday someone stated that the call center said they would via mail. I would but I'm in class.

I called this morning and the rep said they were sending e-mails today. honestly i dont think those people know what they are talking about! they say something different every time i call. its really frustrating!

OK, i just called again. the rep said they are sending emails and letters today. but you should definately get an email today if u were selected.... anyone get an email? this is very stressful my hope is shriveling..

Nothing! did he say whether they are finished sending the e-mails? my hope wants to shrivel as well but I claimed this months ago and I'm trying to maintain faith! Hold on to yours as well! thanks

i told the rep i hadnt gotten an email yet and asked if that meant i didnt get it. she said to wait till the end of the day. i dont know.. its like they are waiting till the last second literally!! i asked if she had access to the list of recipients and she said " i cant disclose that over the phone, everybody has to be notified the same way". maybe they will send out all the emails today at closing?? praying..

i'm guessing that emails have not been sent yet because surely one of the members on this forum would have received one by now... 1.5 hours til the end of their work day...

just talked to a guy @ call center; he was actually polite. said everythings going out now by regular mail. only denials by email. i think is world record on "currently reading this page".

You guys are really helping me keep hope up. Thanks... Im hoping I get selected, Im really hanging on by a thread financially, as Im sure most of us on here are, so Im pulling for all of us. And I dont think I said it earlier, but congrats to all those that did receive that initial email!
